My camera battery died this afternoon and I was not able to take pictures of my food for the rest of the day. Boo. Luckily, I basically eat the same thing all the time so I have pics on file.
I had some PB with Kashi crackers…
…and watermelon at some point when I was hungry.
Then, I decided to face my fears! I returned to the Whole Foods food bar for dinner. Dun, dun, dun dun… I’m very courageous like that.
This is the picture of the food that made me sick. I didn’t get this stuff, but wanted to recreate the cardboard eating experience for you. I did start with some Indian food and rice from the hot food bar.
Then I made a huge salad. I basically made a bed of lettuce and veggies and piled on udon noodles, Israeli couscous (my favorite!), vegan potato salad, sumi salad and a piece of pita with eggless egg salad – I love that stuff.
And I made it! I did not die from Whole Foods this time. Woo – thank God. It was bad last time.
But, I did not get a picture of dessert. I had 2 desserts because I am a fiend. I started with a soy cream sandwich from TJ’s and half a Nana’s Chocolate Chip Cookie. Both were very good. The ice cream sandwich was very good, but a little small – which meant I had room for the Nana’s cookie! But, half a cookie is 210 calories. Ouch!
