My afternoon snack was a True Delights Toasted Coconut Banana Macadamia Nut granol-y bar. It was good I was expecting a fake/too sweet taste and that is not the case at all. I came home to find my free sample of Bear Naked granola I signed up for a while back. I love free stuff. I love granola. I reeeeeeally love free granola! Dinner was a veggie Italian Sausage on a sprouted wheat bun, brussel sprouts and salad. It is freezing over here so I was craving a warm drink. I made some sf hot cocoa and warmed up a VitaTop. These things are like freshly baked cake. I love them.
Unfortunately, I did not stop there. Even though I was full I ate a bunch of Kashi trail mix and handfuls of cereal. I need to get in the practice of brushing my teeth after I am done eating for the day. This habit of nighttime snacking is 20 years in the making and I have to make a BIG effort to stop it.
At least Monday is over After dinner tomorrow I am going to brush my teeth and be done eating. My countdown to the marathon is getting closer and closer and I need to start treating myself like a healthy athlete instead of an emotional eating mess.
