I actually got this recipe from a blogger about a year ago. She has since retired from blogging so I can’t give her a shout out. Actually, I also found it while googling, so I think it’s pretty well known already!
These “cookies” are amazing – and amazingly easy!!!
You only need 4 ingredients. Then, mix, form and eat!
Gluten Free Raw Cookies Recipe
Ingredients: oats, raw almond butter, agave or maple syrup, cocoa powder
I used stuff I had on hand, but did make a special trip to TJ’s for the raw almond butter.
1/2 c oats
1/2 c raw almond butter
1/3 c agave nectar OR maple syrup
1/4 c cocoa powder
1. Mix all the ingredients together. 2. Form into cookies. 3. Freeze for 30 minutes (or refrigerate for 4 hours). 4. Enjoy!
These can be kept in the fridge for a few days, but they never last that long!
I added a dash of salt and used an agave/maple syrup blend this time. Love it!
