Warm Ears, Cold Hands

It was chilly this morning so I busted out my ear muff/headband to keep my ears warm. But, my hands were freezing! I need mittens fast.

Marathon Training: I was out of it this morning and couldn’t understand the speed work I was supposed to day (and I was not feeling it). So I just decided to try and do 6 miles at a 8:30 pace. Well, I didn’t run that fast, but I did do 6 miles in 52:35! I’m happy with that!IMG 1665 300x225 Warm Ears, Cold Hands

Breakfast – I had a jar all ready for oats this morning! Since I’ve been buying big Costco PB it doesn’t happen as often as when I buy normal sized jars from another store. I used 1/2c oats, soy milk, water; a whole ripe naner, pumpkin pie spice, salt and topped with cereals. It was soooo good. But, I need a longer spoon! I may need to take one of my mom’s long dessert spoons when I visit icon wink Warm Ears, Cold Hands

Seems like a pretty awesome pace to me!!

Ahh, I love dessert spoons. I never knew that’s what they were. I just always pick the ones with super long handles.

I’m not sure if I’ve commented before, but I’m really liking your blog ;) I just found it the other day.

I use kiddy spoons with everything. They make long ones that work perfectly in the Costco PB. (who need silverware that you register for your wedding when you can have color changing kiddy spoons.)

I’m having the same problem with my peanut butter jars… they are huge and take a long time to empty. But lucky for me my husband doesn’t like creamy pb and he buys small jars of chunky… which isn’t my fav, but makes good oats! HAHA! Works out great, right?
