Dehydrated?

I don’t know if it was smog or dehydration or what, but I felt like lead stomach and legs today on my run. I was over a mile in and still couldn’t get into it, so I did 2 miles and took a walk break.

Well, the walk break ended up lasting until I got home. So that’s what it is.

When I got back I immediately cooked up a breakfast burrito. In the tortilla – eggs, spinach, onions, tomatoes, salsa and ketchup. I like my tortilla burnt, hence the black lines.IMG 9838 thumb Dehydrated?

I ate a ton of cherries and strawberries while cooking too.IMG 9837 thumb Dehydrated?

I have a lot of little things to take care of as our move is still in process. My car and all our belongings are on their way across the country and I should really check on that!

Digging blackberries right now. Although the past few weekend the peaches have been making an appearance on our grill:)

I’m glad you walked and took it easy, sometimes you can’t break into a groove. But you got in 2 solid miles, terrific!

My favorite fruit is a toss-up between watermelon and cantaloupe. Cantaloupe is just so tasty, but watermelon just plain smells like summer to me.

Hmmm that is a really hard question. I guess I’d have to go with watermelon. We should have a watermelon-eating contest. I bet I could win :)

I’m visiting my parents in Florida and went for a run yesterday. Yikes, the humidity made the run exceedingly more difficult. So. Much. Sweat.
Somedays you just need to take it easy.

It’s hard to pick a summer fruit favorite. Watermelon, cherries and really ripe peaches or nectarines are probably my top 3.

I have been eating tons of blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple. Also here in DC metro area the weather has been horrid for running. I have been still getting my miles in but the air quality, heat and humidity has taken a real tool.
