7 Miles and some Chips

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday icon smile 7 Miles and some Chips

This morning I did 7 miles at around a 9:05 pace. It was supposed to be a tempo run, but since we moved to a more hilly area I have completely slacked off on trying to increase speed. I need to re-examine my goals and training plan if I want to get better!

I think 7 miles is the most I’ve ever done before work. I don’t really have the time for anything more than that. I dream of a life where I run when and how much I want and don’t have to work… If only I was fast enough to get sponsors icon wink 7 Miles and some Chips

It’s Waffle Wednesday! IMG 0890 thumb 7 Miles and some Chips

Two whole wheat waffles and eggs . I made egg beaters in the microwave for some protein and topped it with almond butter for staying power.IMG 0887 thumb 7 Miles and some Chips

And some syrup and chia seeds round it out. This seems like a delicious breakfast for under 400 calories. IMG 0888 thumb 7 Miles and some Chips

Terra Chips sent me some of their vegetable chips to sample recently. I have tried the regular flavor in the past, but this was my first time trying their Exotic Harvest blend. And I haven’t even opened the Mexican inspired bag yet!IMG 0891 thumb 7 Miles and some Chips

These are the prettiest chips I’ve ever seen too. I love when food is pleasant to the eye and the mouth at the same time. IMG 0894 thumb 7 Miles and some ChipsAnd yes, I had some while packing my lunch this morning. Chips in the morning is perfectly fine if they are Kabocha chips, right?

The taro chip. I’ve always seen it in frozen yogurt form but have never tried it! I don’t even know what it is but people seem to really like it. So I’m sure I’d like it too!

I would love to try Taro, because I honestly don’t even know what it is!

Just bought the ‘Sweet & Beet’ flavors. Yumm!

    The blue potato looks cool!

Great job on the run! When I was training for Hood To Coast, my 7 mile runs were around 1:18 or so. When race day finally came, I was able to do it in 1:04! I was pretty happy.

  4. Alexis says

definitely kabocha! I love kabocha so much – I cannot wait for them to be back in season. A chip version is an awesome idea.

  5. Elliott says
