Yesterday afternoon we headed to Amie’s room. She had a suite at the Fairmont Olympic and that was party central. You can see why…IMG 2102 800x600 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

Amie works with Organic Valley and they even stocked the room with chocolate milk. I should have refueled with this after my run this morning wlEmoticon winkingsmile2 Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set UpIMG 2114 600x800 600x800 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

We ended up getting lost in conversation until someone realized it was almost 7pm and we headed to the Blogher Food Closing Reception.IMG 2155 800x600 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

It was held at Sodo Park – this amazing rustic venue!IMG 2119 600x800 600x800 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

We were all saying this would be the perfect wedding venue!IMG 2144 800x600 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set UpIMG 2146 600x800 600x800 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set UpIMG 2147 800x600 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

The party was hosted by Ree Drummond, Jaden Hair and Elise Bauer. Um, I was pretty excited about being within 100 yards of the Pioneer Woman. I should have given her a “red hair don’t care” shirt.IMG 2148 800x600 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

Okay, I really don’t have a shirt like that, but wish I did.

We mingled around and finally ran into Jenna from Eat Live Run. jenna eatliverun tina carrotsncake monica rer thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up(Source: Tina)

Sadly, I’m a bum and we headed out of there fairly early.IMG 2156 800x600 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

Back at the room Tina and I packed up our stuff and I realized I wasn’t going to be able to fit this box of graham crackers. So, I told her, “We need to eat all of these tonight.”

Tina came through and together we plowed through a pack of them. That’s what friends are for, right?IMG 2161 600x800 600x800 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

We had a 5am wake up call and were on the shuttle by 5:30am. I had the best time at the conference! Sad to go home, but excited to see Ben and my fam…IMG 2158 600x800 600x800 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

By the time we got through security I was HUNGRY. Tina and I stayed together for breakfast and thought this long line was a good sign wlEmoticon smile9 Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

Sadly, Tina had to get to her terminal so we parted ways. IMG 2178 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

The flight was only about 2.4 hours and was over before I knew it! I’m so so happy this was a west coast trip and I didn’t have to deal with 5 hour flights or jet lag! IMG 2195 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

When I got home around noon I discovered our fridge was bare and my stomach was grumbling. I grabbed a handful of almonds and hit up TJ’sIMG 2203 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

I threw together a quick salad lunch

and broke into the Fran’s chocolate I bought at the airport. Apparently this a “must-try” of Seattle.IMG 2208 800x600 thumb Blogher Closing Reception and Sunday Set Up

I got back from Phuket last night (Laguna Phuket Marathon) and am so glad I took the day off. Travelling, even for short distances, can be tiring.

I’m glad you had a great time at Blogher. I am ALSO glad that my husband and I are not the only party of 2 that go through so many eggs so quickly! Costco stays in business because of us.

Looked like you had an awesome few days of eating! On Sunday evenings I like to plan my week, clean my house and get organised. For me, organising my life involves writing copious amounts of lists; detailing meals, my workout schedule for the week, shoppings lists etc. Sounds fun, doesn’t it? ;)

I definitely need to get a plan going to start eating healthier again! I just ended my second year of college and I’m doing summer school this summer so I’m going to have time to get myself back into shape! I used to be a high school athlete but my sweet tooth has taking a rein over me. Ha, I’ve definitely gained some muscle from body pump but not 10 lbs worth…My first reaction to seeing my new weight…ah f it i’m eating cake…ha..this may be harder than I thought. I notice that sugar makes my skin break out though as well, so that’s just another incentive…now let me get back to that cake :P

I always get so annoyed because I’m the only one in the house that eats greens when I buy them so they almost always end up going bad before I use all of them. I feel bad for wasting the food and wish that I could find a smaller bag of lettuce or spinach.

My local shop’s started to sell the same amount as there *was* in one pack, but in “twin packs” – so you only have to open half the amount at a time and the other stays sealed and fresh.

That chocolate bar looked freakin’ killer. The main thing I do to set myself up for a good week is make sure I have plenty of delicious, yet healthy, groceries in my kitchen available to make yummy food. I also try to make sure I’m feeling well emotionally and deal with that if I’m not, because icky emotions lead to me not eating right/eating too much/not exercising/etc.

” I also try to make sure I’m feeling well emotionally and deal with that if I’m not, because icky emotions lead to me not eating right/eating too much/not exercising/etc.” Yes! So true.
