Runaroni Giveaway

Hello!!!! How was your day? Mine was good except my glands are still swollen despite the ibuprofen I took 3 times today. I’m probably a goner. Who wants to take over RER when I die?death looms over me

I made rookie mistake #1 and went to Trader Joe’s after work hungry. So this happened. (800x533)

At least dinner was healthy – tilapia, brown rice and roasted brussel sprouts. Love.tilapia, brown rice and roasted brussel sprouts.

Remember last week when I used my awesome Runaroni pasta to make dinner?IMG_9719 (800x533)

Fun fact: Pasta tastes better when its in the shape of runners and shoes! It’s science.IMG_9708 (800x533)

I got a lot of questions asking, “Where can I buy this pasta?!”

Unfortunately, it’s not being sold right now Sad smile

But, my friends at Brooks are giving one lucky RER reader a bag of the Runaroni! IMG_9699 (800x533)

I spent 8 weeks in Spain this summer for school…they had pasta as an option for lunch every. single. day. I think we all know exactly what I ate. every. single. day.

Pasta is so much better in shapes. Spongebob macaroni >> regular macaroni.

  9. Kellie says

This may be a silly question but if you work from home why don’t you just go to the doctor? You could even just go to a CVS Minute Clinic. Also, try a sore throat liquid medicine. It is more efficient than an ib profen.

EAT ALL THE CARBS! I’m currently injured (stupid it band) but still feel the need to carb load like I’m race training, so I think it’s safe to say that I just love all things carby. Plus, nothing would cheer me up more than biting the heads off happy little pasta runners! (kidding.. sorta).

  22. Deb says

I love pasta! In fact, I made it last night and thought “Gee, I really wish I had some of those really awesome runner noodles” – and had to settle for shells. I like shells because the hold more sauce! yum.

I love brussel sprouts also. I’ve never roasted them before because they aren’t readily available fresh in my area. I’ll def put that on my to-do list next time I see them.

Gee – I hope you feel better soon! Have a sore throat is the.absolute.worst! uck!

  29. Anne C says

I am a pasta fanatic. My husband would tell you I do NOT need to win this because I would inhale those cute little shoes in one gulp! But I’m pretty sure the joy that would bring me means I really do need this!!

  30. Jen says

I can eat pasta 3 times a day and not be sick of it. Particularly my mom’s lasagna. I eat that stuff cold out of the fridge at 2 in the morning when my fiancee thinks I’m asleep. Sleep with lasagna in the house? Ha! Anyway, yeah, I love food.

  31. Emily says

Hi! I love your blog but I love food even more! If I had to be on a low carb diet I would probably die. I really need some runaroni!

  32. Lara F. says

I love carbs, especially pasta. Those shoe shaped ones are adorable. They’re like the adult version of the ones shaped like Spongebob and Scooby Doo from my child hood.

  33. Nicole says

Running and carbs are a match made in heaven hence my obsession with both…and coming from an Italian family when pasta is made with everything!

  34. Linda says

I just HAVE to win the Runaroni for my middle grandson, Jayson. He’s in non-stop action all the time…running, pogo stick, scooter…but he’s the pickiest eater in the world! He does, however, love pasta, and I think that the little shoes might encourage him to eat his dinner. I will give my daughter the recipe for Runaroni Pasta so she can get good carbs AND some veggies and protein into this young man, too. And thanks! :)

  35. Jacqueline says

As a runner, I cannot live without my CARBS! From oatmeal in the morning, whole grain sandwiches at lunch, and brown rice in the evening, I would LOVE to add this pasta to my repertoire!

  36. Gillian says

It’s in my blood to love pasta since I’m part Italian. But really I eat it a lot: pasta salad, homemade Mac and cheese, lasagne, tortellini soup (awesome and easy recipe if you’re interested), etc etc. And I think you are right it must taste better when it’s shaped like runners and running shoes!

  37. Kathy says

I love carbs. They give me energy to run half marathons. And pasta is my favorite! And how awesome is runner and shoes pasta?

  38. Laurel says

Too cute… I’m not a carby person actually, but I have three kids that are! I buy the Florida Gators shaped pasta!
