Thera-Gesic Giveaway

How’s your day?

Well, no matter how your day is going – I’m about to make it better. Yogurtland is giving out FREE fro-yo from 4pm to 7pm. I’ll meet you there in 16 minutes!image

I still can’t believe I’m feeling so good despite running for almost 4 hours yesterday.

But, I will admit at one point during the race I was running near a guy that smelled like Thera-Gesic and I really liked it – is that weird?

Yes. But I’m okay with being a little weird. It’s called self acceptance.

Recently a contact from Thera-Gesic sent me a stash of their stuff and even though I don’t feel like I need it, I enjoy a little rub down with something cool. (Monica, can you not make this sound gross? No? Okay, fine…)

Anyway – if you are an RER reader I’m assuming you are 1 of 2 things:

1. An exercise enthusiast

2. A fan of nerdy red heads who take too many self portraitsgoing to disneyland

And if you are #1 then you may need a little rub down yourself – and I’m here to help!

No, I’m not going to show up at your house for a massage, but I am offering this great giveaway…Theragesic_FB_CoverPhoto_v01

One RER reader will win a grand prize of a $100 Visa Gift Card and a 6 month supply of Thera-Gesic and 2 runners up can each win 6-month supply of Thera-Gesic by doing the following:

1. Leave a comment on here with your favorite form of exercise
2. Follow Thera-Gesic on Facebook – and /or on Twitter @theragesic and verify it here

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Thera-Gesic. The opinions expressed here are my own.

  1. Jordan says

Lately I’m loving yoga fusion, which involves lifting weights while holding balancing poses. So much fun, but super challenging!

  2. Christine S. says

I love running!! I am new to the sport (ran 2 halfs in 2012) and can’t wait to see how much I’ve improved in 2013!

  3. Sarah says

My favorite form of exercise is channel surfing. But since that’s not such a great calorie burner, I run sometimes.

  4. Jessie says

That might be obvious, well only if you knew I read your blog and Skinnyrunner daily. You both motivate me to run!

  5. Megan K. says

Running is my favorite, but I took a skyrobics class at a indoor trampoline park the other day and it was so much fun! It was a great workout.

  6. Emily says

I am still somewhat new to the running world (one half marathon under my belt) but I have come to love the sport more and more!

  7. Amanda W says

I’m a huge fan of hardcore bootcamp style workouts for a good sweat. I also adore yoga, but it is more my get right in the head activity than an exercise activity.

  8. Kim says

I never thought I could run but once I started and realized not only I could and was actually GOOD at it….I am in love….running, running, running!

  9. Margaret says

Running- since I’m training for marathon #3 in April. Also just started Crossfit and love that, too. Thanks for the giveaway!!! Congrats on the PR!

  10. Samantha says

My favorite exercise is TurboFire! It is fast, fun and I sweat like a pig during it. And 1 year ago I signed up for my first 5k and haven’t stopped running since. So I know you said my favorite, but they both are. Unless you consider watching Channing Tatum or Sam Elliott movies exercise, they do get my heart pumping. Lol

  11. Angela says

Even though I love running my job is super hectic and I work weird hours (go to work when it’s dark and come home when it’s dark) aaaand I’m from a really small town so no gyms around here, boo. SO I’d say circuit training or maybe kickboxing are my favorite workouts as of late. I can do both at home at any point during the day which is a definite plus! End rant and run-on sentences!!
Congrats on the PR for the full, amazing especially considering you weren’t training for it and decided last minute. You’re a rock star!

  12. katie says

Kickboxing is currently my favorite exercise, but I’m training for my first 25k and my left knee is very angry at me about that!

  13. says

running all the way! i have recently been using ironman muscle rub and love it – but i’m almost out (it was from race samples) …was looking to try something new! :-)

  14. Kellie says

I have started falling in love with bootcamp. I love the variety and how I always feel tired but invigorated afterwards.

  15. Val says

I love my group personal training classes. It is mainly circuit training and every class is different so you never get bored!

  16. Denise P. says

My fav form of exercise is definitely running. It’s been the constant over the past couple of years. Ive done kickboxing, cycling, yoga, boot camp, pole fitness, aqua aerobics, etc, but running takes the cake.

  17. Rachel D. says

My favorite form of exercise is Spinning! It makes me feel strong and that I can do anything. It also relieves my stress and is the only exercise I look forward to. I can’t get enough!

  18. Aubrey says

    favorite exercise: running
favorite place to run: on the beach! it kicks my butt!
close 2nd place: hiking/biking… anything outside, and I’m there :)

  19. says

Running! I have the best running partners in the world (my husband and our 5 month old son…though the latter tends to fall asleep on us. Rude)

  20. Deb says

Favorite form of exercise .. let me think — oh, yea RUNNING (that took all of .03 seconds to decide!) Second is weight lifting – so I could really use a good rub down … oh baby! 😉

  21. Paige Callahan says

Running, Running, Running! I’m addicted, since the day I started distance running it was a perfect match. I’m running my first half this summer in Annapolis, MD and pred indoors 2 weeks ago in the 5k.

  22. Krystina says

I feel like it used to be running, but as of lately, I have really been into weight training. I still like to run, but usually just a 3-4 miler before I hit the weight room.

  23. Becky says

Honestly with school and work if I can find time to do anything that is my favorite. Zumba, spinning, walking etc.

  24. Johanna B says

I’m a walker due to an injury I’m rehabbing but I also ride a bike for exercise and do lots of yoga and stretching.

  25. says

I actually don’t have a “favorite” exercise…I like to mix things up and try new things all the time! I currently am in to running and strength training, but would LOVE to try “pole fitness”. Have you heard of that?? (Yes it is a form of exercise…Google it)!!! 😀

Favorite form of exercise? RUNNING, of course, which is brought me to and keeps me reading this wonderful blog.

Oh yeah, plus your extreme wit, amazing CA stories and just other neat things in general :)

  27. maija says

i love running, but lately have been swimming (because our air quality sucks. charming.) cross training has clued me into why people love muscle rubs so hard…

  28. Lindsey A. says

I love getting out for a run, but I also just finished a 100 day challenge doing short HIIT workout every single day. I LOVED the body weight workouts and building muscles!

  29. Rebecca says

I feel like I should say spinning just so there’s something different on here… but running’s really my favorite :)

  30. says

I totally loved running and then I did my half. I injured my foot, (calcaneus stress fracture). So while I know I want to run again, I have discovered that I love my spin class.

  31. says

Running is by far my favorite exercise. One where I can push myself and don’t wind up hurting my neck or back. It is the one thing I can do to de-stress and get away from it all.

  32. lexi says

  33. Lauren C. says

My current favorite form of exercise is videos … with two little ones I can hardly leave the house right now! I am loving Turbo Fire … I have been struggling with tendonitis and I would LOVE to try this product! Thanks!

  34. Erin Nicole says

Running, running & more running! I could really use this for when I’ve got sore muscles :) My back gets terrible from work, so this could be amazing!!

  35. Aimee M says

The elliptical is my favorite! I WANT to love running…maybe I’ll try it again when it stops snowing in New England

  36. says

I’ve recently gotten really into CrossFit, but have always been a runner. Running comes easy but CrossFit really challenges my body and leaves me feeling super sore at least a couple of days a week. I’d love to try this, I’ve never even heard of it before! I’d also REALLY love the $100 visa gift-card, I’m in dire need of some new sneakers!
