Hello! How are you doing?

I’m doing pretty good, but snacking is still a challenge this week. My sweet tooth is out of control! Not surprising, but still frustrating.

Luckily, a rep from Quest Bar protein bars sent me two boxes of delicious treats to snack on! I have a variety box and a whole box of chocolate chip Quest Bars.IMG 1610 800x600 thumb Quest Protein Bar Giveaway

Um, the Chocolate Chip protein bar is THE BEST bar I’ve ever had. You can even microwave it for 12 seconds and it tastes like a chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven. Mmmm.

Added bonus: They are gluten free, have about 200 calories and have about 20g of protein (depending on the bar)!

    I have to agree with you that the chocolate chip cookie dough bar is the BEST!! The chocolate peanut butter isn’t too bad either. Lunch today….egg salad on matzoh.

    I LOVE chocolate chip cookies! I see myself eating an entire box in one sitting…yikes. I usually have a salad for lunch but I’m going out for lunch today so it’s still up in the air – either this amazing Peruvian chicken place or some good old cheesy rice from the Mexican place nearby.

    I am on a nutritional, cellular cleanse today (as I am most Thursdays), so I will have my cleanse drink, some almonds, and lemon water! Many people think I’m crazy for doing this, but I LOVE my cleanse days. I’ve never tried Quest Bars, and really want to. I’m not sure where to find them around me, though!

    I packed a delicious turkey sandwich on wheat bread with some rice cakes and a banana. I also have a protein bar to snack on, but I have trouble finding bars that are healthy and taste good. Would love to try some Quest bars and see what they are all about!

    I will be in the doctor’s office during lunch so will be a little late today. I am planning on have fresh pineapple, boiled eggs with some salsa, and whatever veggies and hummus that I can find.

    Breakfast today: Scrambled Egg White + Spinach , 2 peices of WW Toast with a smear of strawberry Jelly , & Some Greek Yogurt! Yum!

    Lunch today will be something NOT so healthy. I’m home on spring break, and the Boy and I are visiting are old favorite restaurant in the hometown for the first time in QUITE some time:)

    I love Quest bars! The lemon one is also good when microwaved for 10-15 seconds.
    Lunch today is a big bowl of leftovers – kale, avocado, eggs, salsa, lentils & black beans.

    Smuckers Uncrustables (SOO GOOD) but the kind with reduced sugar and whole wheat bread! NOM NOM!
    A Banana
    A cheese stick
    and Special K Cracker Chips…Southwest ranch…Not my favorite, but it was all I had left!
    And water!

    Spinach salad with lots of veggies and a veggie burger on top for protein. Pear on the side. I gave up sweets for Lent, or I would have some sort of yummy chocolate treat too. I can’t wait for Sunday!!!

    Mmmm. I LOVE quest bars! I’m out at a new client today and I wasn’t sure of the kitchen/refrigeration/microwave situation. I’ll be having Chobani w/fruit and pumpkin seeds, kale chips, and a Doctor Kracker flatbread.

    For lunch today I’m having a big salad with chicken and egg and lots of veggies and an avocado dressing. I made muffins last night so I’ll probably have some of those and some almonds too. I’m in the last few weeks of training for Boston and I feel like I’m always hungry! Healthy snacks are a necessity :)

    Probably will stop by and get a couple of beef empanadas for lunch. So are these even better than Mesotech Peanut Butter protein bars . . . best testing bars I have ever had. Unfortunately not always easy to find in stock locally.

    So glad you tried Quest bars!! I think I suggested them a while back on another of your entries because I agree that they are THE BEST THING EVAR…. or else I am having a memory fail and am making that up :)

    Anyway – on today’s menu for lunch is a tub of TJ’s egg white salad and a whole wheat pita covered with (a likely inordinate amount of) hot sauce.

I’m going back today to see if they have more! I’m going to have tuna mixed with mashed avocado and roasted veggies!! Oh I hope I win :)

    Homegrown sweet tater, pinto bean, collards, and sharp cheese burrito. I make a huge batch, freeze them individually, and then have them everyday for lunch. It makes getting out the door to work much easier.

    Yay, Quest! I recently started eating them; they’re the only protein bar I’ll touch! I do IF, so my lunch is my first meal of two for the day. Today, I’ll probably have a twice-baked sweet potato with kale and broccoli, plain Chobani acting as a sour cream topping and some shredded cheddar cheese, alongside a Morningstar turkey burger and kale + spinach salad.     For lunch I ate what I do every single day, a huge salad. Today it consisted of spinach, tomatoes, jalapenos, mushrooms, peas, dried chickpeas, feta and gyro meat! Delicious, but I am still hungry

    OK, I am confused with their ingredients/promises.
    On their webpage where is says ‘Quest vs Other bars’ they say “Quest bars have no sugar alcohol or other junk.”

    Then you scroll down and see all the nutritional listing for each bar and almost ALL of them list Sugar Alcohol!!!!? WTF?

    For lunch I am having … A wrap with turkey breast, avocado , saracha sauce, spinach, and a wedge of laughing cow cheese! On the side I am having a bunch of yummy raw veggies and a new favorite / find.. Some garlic stuffed kalamata olives!! OMG they’re sooo good.     Sigh, I have to confess – I had a Clif bar for lunch. I spent my lunch hour grocery shopping and yet ironically that left me no time for a real lunch before I had to head back to work. I usually have a PB&J or omelet.

    SO CONFESSION: i want to try these bars. bad. real bad. i drove all over town last weekend on a quest. get it? but they did not have this flavor. i tried cinnamon roll which was bomb BUT how can you beat cookie dough?? gotta get my paws on these! #noshame

    For lunch today: I am having 3.5oz turkey muffin with a salad and 3.0 oz of baked yam….Yummmm…I baked the yams for an hour and 20 minutes and they are sooooo soft!

    Yum! Quest Bars are the only protein bar that is “clean” without fillers! The chocolate peanut butter flavor is awesome. I made chicken taco soup for lunch today!

    Lunch today was a big salad with spring mix lettuce, lots of spinach, red peppers, grape tomatoes, avocado and a tiny bit of yogurt ranch dressing. On the side was an egg. And some lemon/ cucumber water to drink!

    I had lunch with my sister in laws and our newest addition to the family, a baby girl named Emma, 3 months old. We made a healthy chopped salad with black beans and avocado. My sister in law made the best dressing: 1) 1 cup of plain yogurt, 2) a packet of ranch dressing mix, and 3) a 1/4 of a packet of taco seasoning mix. Put them all together and you have yummy! So, I had a great, healthy lunch, with great company!

    For breakfast – sheesh I’m thinking breakfast still lol must have been good.

    I mean for lunch I had a delicious juicy homemade turkey burger topped simply with mustard and relish and wrapped in boston lettuce. On the side I had slices of avocado and oddly enough also some brussel sprouts. (the brussel sprouts where leftovers if you couldn’t tell lol)

    Well I totally gave into a pregnancy craving and had a peanut butter sandwich with nacho doritos inside. Yes, inside the sandwich. It gives the sandwich the best crunch!! I did have a banana and water to accompany it, but it was oh so good!!

    I LOVE QUEST bars: I have been eating the coconut cashew ones for about a year, and have never seen the cookie dough version!
    Lunchers: the usual Salad Bar at work caf with chicken, roasted eggplant, and a whole bunch of other veggies.
