Follow Friday and Foods

Hello! It’s Friday! How did your week go?

Mine was great! Next week is ridiculous though I’m going to San Fran and New York in 3 days. I don’t even know.


This week was pretty low key on the running side of things. It’s a post-marathon recovery week. I did a 3 miler on Tuesday, 8 on Thursday and 3 again today – all at a slow, easy pace.


Here’s what I’m been eating this week:

Sushi last night for dinner. Yes.

I took a poll on Instagram on whether or not to buy this. The consensus was YES, but I’m going to wait until this weekend when I have people around so I don’t eat the whole thing.

Runa is a new energy drink company that sent me a few samples. It’s an energy drink made from tea and has the same caffeine as coffee and 2x the anti-oxidants of green tea.


Simply Snackin sent me some chicken jerky in a few flavors and it’s so good! I keep these in my purse. Added bonus: Soy free/gluten free – a lot of beef jerky has soy or gluten from soy sauce.

    Happy to vote for you! I thought of you this morning as I chose my walking path to lead me directly into the new Dunkin Donuts that opened near my house. 1.5 miles away to be exact. I was due for a complete rest day but I figured a walk on a beautiful day to pick up an ice coffee was acceptable- especially since holding a giant cup of coffee would keep me from being tempted to run lol….feel free to follow my blog! or…..thanks for the link up!

    Cool! Follow Friday! How generous of you! After years of being harassed by friends/fam/internet strangers I started a blog to follow all of my life endeavors (aerobic instructor, nutritionist, high school teacher, baker, etc), but most importantly my adoption journey!! After 7 hellish years of infertility treatments we are pursing infant, domestic adoption and, wow, has it been a roller coaster. All of my additional social media is on my website!
