Blood, Sweat and Cheers Giveaway

Remember how I mentioned that I am trying to get ‘back to basics’ with healthy living? I’m doing things like getting in a walk during the day and focusing on whole foods. This morning I had oats in a jar – that’s back to basics and a throwback in one!

    I have a Nike fuelband and I LOVE it! I promise I won’t enter the give away. Haha. Who ever wins is going to be very happy! I had 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with natural peanut butter for breakfast. Then I went out and ran set a distance PR! 4 miles!

    Would love to win this! I had coffee (x2), Cherrios with hemp seeds and almond milk for breakfast after my 5:00 am swim. I didn’t grocery shop for the week yet and the pickings were slim in my house! Overnight oats sound really good, going to have to prep some tonight for sure!

    My step-son has one of those – very cool! I had a Chobani parfait – vanilla Chobani, homemade lemon poppy seed granola with strawberries and bananas – yum!

    i have oatmeal prettty much every single morning :) and if I don’t then I’ll probably have it for lunch.. haha I love making a mix of steel-cut, barley, and rolled oats !

    Breakfast today was tropical strawberry shakeology mixed with strawberries, bananas, milk, and chia seeds.

    I have the fuel band right now but I’m planning on getting the fitbit flex soon. I like that I’ll be able to link it up to My Fitness Pal.

    I had a piece of toasted homemade sourdough bread with butter and blackberry jam, pineapple with a dollop of Greek yogurt, and a large glass of iced coffee.

    Second breakfast was a green smoothie made with watermelon, orange, Greek yogurt, and a large handful of spinach.

    I had a really strange breakfast – a tiny sliver of leftover bacon chicken wrap and pistachios. I wasn’t feeling cooking something. :)

    I normally like having smaller, on the sweet side types of breakfast, normally yogurt. However, today I had a potato with an egg. Hit the spot and will probably keep me full for awhile!

    I wasnt too hungry this morning and didnt workout this AM so I had a slice of Sprouted bread with natural PB.

    Breakfast was a large latte, cinnamon bun and some m&m’s. Still refueling from my first 70.3 yesterday and allowing myself to “indulge” a little more :)

    omg I’ve been wanting one of these Nike bands since they came out but haven’t been able to justify spending the money. Crossing my fingers for this one!

    I love oatmeal but just can’t eat it when it’s hot outside (which is a lot here in Florida). I had cereal for breakfast today. Had to be out the door by 6:30 for work so I went for the fast and satisfying easy clean up option.
