Say WHAT? Rice cooked in coconut milk? It sounds heavenly and I gotta try it. I currently have 3 cartons of Silk Almond Milk in the fridge (yes, I’m a heavy user), but have yet to try their Coconut Milk. MUST DO!

  2. Beth G. says

Truth: Probably my old favorite, but it would entirely depend on my mood on the day I was shopping.

  3. Noel says

I’d try the coconut milk so I could make this recipe! By the way, your cabbage, garbanzo bean, TJ’s peanut dressing, etc. salad has become one of my family’s favorites. I put it on a bed of quinoa for a light dinner. Thanks for both the running and the “eating” inspiration. :)

  4. Denise says

Id try something new: especially if it is something healthy.

I LOOOOOOOVE Silk products. As a veg. I eat a LOT of them!

  5. says

I am a really big creature of habit and usually stick to my tried and true favorites. But I do push myself to try new things since I am sometimes surprised and am able to find a new favorite.

  6. april says

i’m a creature of habit, too – i LOVE silk pure almond vanilla! i did try the coconut recently and liked it, but almond all the way!

  7. Alicia Wynn says

When I spend my own money, I stick to Light Original Soy Milk! But with a coupon, I’d definitely try something new!

  8. says

I would try this recipe! Except without pineapple and with dark chocolate chips (because we all know chocolate makes things better).

  9. Lori says

I would stick with what I usually buy. I am a fan of the unsweetened vanilla almond milk and the dark chocolate almond milk.

  10. Becca says

I probably wouldn’t stray too far from my normal Original Almond Milk flavor, but I have been eyeing the Coconut!

  11. says

Hm… I’ll level with you. I will almost certainly use this coupon to buy chocolate silk, because it is my absolute favorite. I love the super chocolate flavor without the really heavy weight/tooth-covering of regular chocolate milk. I would buy that chocolate Silk and I would drink ALL OF IT. No shame.

  12. LeeAnn says

Yes, I would totally try something new. Oddly enough, I always used almond milk, but alas, one day the grocery store was out, so I tried coconut milk – LOVE! Now I switch back and forth, but I think coconut is my favorite.

  13. Laura says

I always go with my favorite unsweetened original almond milk but I would LOVE to venture out and try coconut!

  14. says

Truth: If I had a free coupon… I would probably buy something new to try, that way, I’ll know to buy it in the future if I like it!

  15. Erin says

I always buy the unsweetened vanilla almond milk — I’d definitely try something new with this, probably the coconut milk you’re raving about!

  16. SuzanneU says

I tried the Coconut Flavored Milks from Silk and am now obsessed! Trying something new is muy bueno!

I would definitely try something new!! I am all about branching out and trying new flavors and products!! And I would love to try something new from Silk, they have amazing products!

  18. Emy says

Recently I have been having to transition to a lactose free diet, so I would love a coupon to continue my exploration of all Silk has to offer :)

  19. Jen says

I do both! I love to stick to my favorite (unsweetened almond milk), but I also love trying new things, like their dark chocolate almond milk I tried today. Delicious! NOT embarrassed to say that I always have at least three cartons of Silk in my fridge at all times…;-)

  20. Ivy says

I’m willing to try new things, if I don’t like it there is alway my old favorites at least then I’ll know.

  21. Annemarie/Carmie says

I would gladly try something new! I am obsessed with coconut but I’ve never tried coconut milk! Strange but true!

  22. Mave says

I’m pretty adventurous when it comes to the food I eat. Therefore, I would DEFINITELY try something new! I’d like to try the coconut milk you used in this recipe. It sounds good!

  23. says

I like to stick with the old (stuff I know I like)! I have this favorite Mexican restaurant in the town I grew up in- I’ve been going there since I was 5-6 years old, and I’ve only ever tried one thing! Why mess with greatness?

  24. Kelly says

If they had smaller cartons of some of their lattes or other fun flavors I’d totally try something new. But since they are all big cartons I’m sticking to my favorite almond milk!

  25. Sam says

I tend to stick to what I know is good! :) I love both almond and coconut milk but usually I buy canned coco milk.

  26. says

New but I draw the line at eating insects etc though. LOL!
We call this rice “nasi lemak” over here and we use fresh coconut milk (santan) and boil/cook the rice in a rice cooker. I also add in thin strips of gingers and some screwpine leaves to enhance the flavour and smell.

  27. Heather says

Try something new! How the heck did you come up with this rice?! Sounds so yummy I never would have thought to mix pineapple and cranberries in…genius!

  28. Elyse says

I would definitely try something new. How do you know if you are going to like something if you don’t try new things!

  29. Sarah B. says

I’m all about trying new things! We love Silk products in our house, as dear daughter has a milk protein allergy…

  30. Alexandra says

Ahh i’d love to say that I’d try something new but I know that when it comes down to a game time decision at the grocery store I’d probably grab my old faithful Chocolate Silk :)

  31. Shannon in Tustin says

I’d definitely try something new! I’ve been using the unsweetened vanilla because I hate sparing the extra calories of the sweetened version. But I’m wanting to splurge on the chocolate for sure!

  32. Natalie says

I tend to stick to the old unless I don’t have to buy the new. I hate spending money on something I’m not sure I will like!

  33. Jackie W says

I also ALWAYS get the silk almond milk…however, I think I’d branch out and try the coconut milk as well :)

  34. Laura E. says

I have to admit it…I’d always get my old favorite! Once I fall in love with something I can’t miss out on it by getting something else..haha

  35. says

I mostly stay with what I know & am not very adventurous when it comes to food. But if it sounds intriguing, I’ll give it a whirl. This recipe sounds especially delicious.

  36. Darci says

I usually always get the same thing, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but if I won I may have to try the coconut milk! No better time to try it than when it’s free!

  37. Denise P. says

I have yet to try Silk’s Coconut milk, but I love other brands of it, so I’d stick with that. I did their Almond milk for quite a while first, but coconut milk is where its at!

  38. Jessica B says

New, because I’ve never tried Silk. I’m allergic to soy milk and I thought that was all they made – now I know!

  39. says

Try something new! Because you can always go back to your old favorite to reassure yourself why it is your favorite if you don’t like the new. And it’s nice to switch things up

  40. Katie says

I’m always up for trying new things! I am obsessed with their almond milk I think the next type I try is the dark chocolate one!! Mmmm!

  41. Karen says

I would most likely stick with my usual-unsweetened original almond milk. I started buying the Silk brand of almond milk because it doesn’t contain Carrageenan.

  42. Teresa says

I’d like to say that I would try something new, but usually always end up with the fav – almond. I use it in my morning smoothie – even my kids drink it now!

  43. says

I’m such a creature of habit bc I’m so picky so it’s hard for me to try something new so I usually always stick with my old friend of Silk Vanilla Almond milk though I’ve been itching to try the chocolate lol. Maybe I’ll get a chance if I win!!

  44. Katie D. says

Something new all the way! There are so many choices, that I try something different every time I buy non-dairy milk!

  45. Catie says

I’d totally get my favorite…Dark Chocolate Almond Milk. (Hello, luvah.) Except I love coconut and your recipe sounds right up my alley, so now I’m conflicted and confused and feel the need to purchase both. OOOH! I could mix them and I’d bet it would taste like an Almond Joy.
