Happy little Saturday to everyone out there 🙂
Before I get to Sat’s eats though, let me back up a minute and recap the new recipe I tried last night courtesy of Jenna at Eat, Live, Run. She posted this recipe a while back and I made a note of it because it sounded so good.
Four Cheese Stuffed Shells – Ben & Matt really liked them too, so I will def be making them again 🙂
This morning before my run I had bread with PB.
I did 13 miles and started to get hungry almost as soon as I started. Weird. But, then the hunger went away.
After my run I stopped at Jamby for a smoothie. I got one of the “topper” smoothies and it came with granola on top. I was still hungry after so I had some cereal too.
A bit later I had a veggie burger and some of Ben’s fries from lunch 🙂
We took Matt to see Coraline in 3-D and I partook in movie theater artery clogging popcorn. I love popcorn and always want it when we go to the movies, but try to only get it a couple of times a year. This was one of those times.
I also had a diet coke. I am making a huge effort to not drink it anymore, but since I do really enjoy it I’ve decided I can drink it on Saturdays only. Let’s just make sure I only have 1 on Saturday and don’t live off of it!
I snacked on random fruit through out the day and will be partying it up tonight – so many drinks are to be had 🙂 See ya later.
