I have been MIA because I was in Las Vegas for my Bachelorette Party!!!
Now, I try to keep sacred the Vegas code: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” So, I won’t say too much, except I had the Best.Time.Ever. Love it!
My friends went out of their way to get all these cute party favors and games and stuff for me to wear! Plus they had very fun events planned. I cannot tell them “THANK YOU” enough. I really appreciate it
In addition to the Bachelorette activities I did the following:
1. Wear way too much make-up – as always
2. Drink – I don’t normally drink very much, so this wasn’t too hard, actually it was super fun!
3. Dance – I love dancing! I am totally the kind of girl that can go all night! But, drinking does help mask any foot pain related to super high heels. The places we went had great music too!
This is my matron of honor Cindy. We’ve been friends since 1st grade!
This is my peep Susan, she reads the blog too! And she’s my only runner girlfriend! She was cool enough to do a 20 minute yoga session with me one morning. Yoga after too many beverages is not easy people.
I am so lucky to have such a cool group of girlfriends. Shelby, Heather and Lisa (who will also be in the wedding) are in this pic.
I ate a lot of junk this weekend! This is really out of character from my usual Vegas trips. Normally when I go to Las Vegas I don’t eat a lot of crap because I know I’m going to be drinking massive amounts of alcohol
But, this trip I ate a lot of desserts:
I also partook in many beverages:
I did manage to make a few healthy choices though. I always bring cereal with me when I go on a trip. I LOVE CEREAL. So I brought some and got a tall skim milk from the ‘Bucks to have cereal for breakfast. I also got fruit on the side.
Saturday we went out for Mexican food for lunch and that always starts with chips:
I got a good salad with shrimp and a massive amount of avocado. Plus I helped Cindy with her burrito :)
This was pre-race party fuel that I ate for dinner Friday night.
My friends are the best! But, they did make me wear that pink tiara and a veil one of the nights. I was against it at first (isn’t it enough that I have a massive red head and too much make-up?), but they insisted it was a Right of Passage.
And a lot of people I met that night thought it was fun! Ha, I guess they were drunk and happy too. The veil didn’t stay on long though – it got in the way of my dancing!
The whole group
I took pics of some of my food, but practically none of my drinks. The Micky D’s breakfast sammies were a 6am pick-me-up after a long night I should have just ordered them without sausage since I took it out, but I was drunk not in the right mindset so I didn’t. Actually, I didn’t eat the egg either. All I really wanted was to eat the bread anyways! I love those biscuits and McGriddles bread!
Oh, and that pizza has tomatoes on top, not pepperoni (isn’t that what it looks like?).
Again, I had the Best Vegas trip I’ve ever had! I love my friends! Thank you ladies!!!
Now I am going back to regularly scheduled blogging! Hope you all had a good weekend too!
