Hello! Are you ready for Thanksgiving? I am. I’ve been ready since last year’s Thanksgiving. In case you’re not I put together a list of last minute T-day tips!
1. Pray and be thankful for your blessings.
2. Get all your cooking and buying and meal prep done early so you can enjoy your day.
Tip: wear an apron so you seem super domestic / don’t get food all over your clothes like I did
3. Get in some exercise.
4. Watch the parade or a great TV marathon
5. Don’t stress if anything goes wrong. It’s a fun, beautiful day with your people.
6. Be nice. If you don’t have anything nice to say stuff your mouth with pie.
7. The big turkey might require some team work in the kitchen. Be prepared to offer help in one way or another.
8. Stretchy pants are your friend.
9. Tell everyone you see on the street, at your dinner, your cat… Happy Thanksgiving. If feel like it really started the holiday spirit. Some lady told me “Happy Thanksgiving!” on Monday when I was running and it made me happy.
10. EAT ALL THE THINGS!!!

Hope your Thanksgiving was amazing. Thanksgiving tip is to enjoy the little things in life, like being able to have a yummy dinner. My husband is deployed and they don’t get quite the menu that we do : )

Happy Thanksgiving, Monica! My tip for today: be grateful for the people you love, relax, roll with whatever happens, and eat whatever you want. It’s Thanksgiving. Calories don’t count today. (They do, but one day won’t ruin the rest of your life.)
