foodies-6821This morning I ran with my new running partner – my Garmin Forerunner 305!!! This is what I bought yesterday at Costco (the present to myself for the GRE pain I put myself through). I had just got it yesterday and only took it out of the box for a minute at work so my co-workers could make fun of me for how big my new “watch” is. But, I didn’t charge it last night 🙁 So as soon as I took off on my run the sign came up  Batteries Low. Well, it stayed working through my 5 mile run at least. I am excited to try this on a new route so I can finally get out of the monotony of running around my local park!

Here is some info from the company on it. (I did not pay that much for it!)

I want to use it a few more times before I do a full review – so keep a look out for it 🙂

Laurajane, I am so excited about it, but I probably look weird to people who don’t know what that big ol’ watch I’m wearing is.

You got a Forerunner! I’ve had my eye on those! I have the 101 (the earliest model) and it’s practically like you’re wearing a calculator on your arm-it’s ridiculous, but I love knowing my speed/distance if I’m running outside.
