Chickpeas are back

Yes! I have been waiting for my travels to be over to break into my chickpea stash and finally was able to tonight!

A lot of chickpeas on a salad.IMG_9025

A little bit of ravioli and bread (in comparison).IMG_9027

My afternoon eats were not photogenic at all so I will spare you. Instead, I will share something else that’s not photogenic – Ben’s disgusting bruising.

Ben injured himself pretty badly at Princeton Reunions last weekend. Let’s just say there were some adult beverages and dares from old college buddies that resulted in blood and a baseball sized welt on his shin. Ouch.IMG_9035

It’s been over a week and a half and his entire leg below the knee is bruised and swollen. His family freaked out when they say it this weekend and he finally went to the doc today. The doc said he’ll be fine as long as he stops accepting dares from fellow drunkards (I may be misquoting the diagnosis, but I’m not a doctor).

These pictures make it look a lot better than it is. It’s completely gross in person 🙁

Why do men have to prove themselves when drinking? I tell my husband he is getting way to old to relive his fraternity days 🙂

I went to TJs in Columbia yesterday and thought I saw you walking in and started freaking out like it was a celebrity sighting but then it wasn’t you. I am not normal. The End.

Aww poor Ben!! Drunk injuries are the worst because you never really realize how bad it can be until the day after!

This is the first blog I have come across on this matter. Lots to consider. I’m going to show my Mom. It will absolutely start a completely new area to talk about.

Ouch! I can’t imagine it looking worse in person. Looks painful enough on screen!
