I tried another protein powder today – Tera’s Whey Protein Powder in Blueberry

I had high expectations since I’ve heard rave reviews about this stuff in blogland. But sadly it didn’t live up to my fave – Spirutien Cherries Jubilee. Nothing has compared to this stuff.

But, I will not be deterred. When I went to Whole Foods to return my last failed protein powder an employee in the Whole Body section told me they sell my long lost protein powder at another local health foods store so I’ll check that out before I give up hope.

“Up with hope! Down with Dope!” And by dope I mean bad protein powder 🙂

Thursdays are Rest Days so I did Jillian’s 30 Day Shred Level 1.

Monday Mini-Goal Update:

1. Get 8 hours of sleep each night. – I’ve been getting between 7 and 8 every night and really feel the difference that extra hour does when I get 8 versus 7. I’ll keep working toward that!

2. Jillian’s 30 Day Shred – I did this Monday and Tuesday, but skipped Wed.

3. Eat Clean – I finished off the ice cream Tuesday, but at least it’s out of the house now, right?

Breakfast: Protien smoothie and bagel with PB & naner

This protein powder made my smoothie icy and not smooth and creamy like I like it.

We got our pictures from the waterproof camera we took to Curacao!

We went snorkeling right off the beach at the resort…

I love being able to just walk into the water and swim with the fishies.

I also took some pictures of Ben kite surfing from the water.

Ben and I also took a ride on a Hobie. It was scary but fun 🙂

Ben and Monica under water!

I am so happy to be thisclose to Friday! Since I missed a week of class I’m super behind and really feel like I’m drowning 🙁 I am very stressed and have been freaking out all week. Boo. But, now I need to really buckle down, stop freaking out and get to studying!

I used to work at Mother’s Market in Costa Mesa and we carried it there! I worked in the Vitamin Dept 🙂 There might be a closer location to you…we have a Laguna Woods store. Maybe that one? Good luck!

I love my smoothies smooth and creamy as well! I’ve always said “it’s called a SMOOTHie not an ICEie.”

I can’t ever find a clean protein powder. They all have too many chemicals! But I did find 100% non-GMO pea protein powder that just has that one ingredient. Obviously it doesn’t help the smoothie in the taste department, but it is nice to get some extra protein in!

I know how you feel about being overwhelmed. I haven’t even missed any class yet, and I feel over my head. However, in the past, I would use my unhealthy habits to deal with this stress. Now you and I can be happy that we have other ways of dealing!

      What fun pictures!

I really prefer vanilla and chocolate protein powders, so the blueberry flavor just looks weird!

I used to be all about chocolate or vanilla until I tried that Cherry one! Now I’m obsessed.

Your vacation looks amazing! I’m totally jealous. What waterproof camera did you use?

Do you have a Sprouts or Henry’s near you? Both of their San Diego locations carry your protein powder, maybe you’ll have better luck there?

Yeah, you can return it if it’s less than 1/2 used! I never return food, but for $22.00 you bet I’ll take back something when I know I’m not going to use it 🙂
