What I Ate Today with a Meal Delivery Service

Hello! I’m sharing another day of eats courtesy of the Freshly Meal Delivery Service. Ready to eat meals are making my life super easy this week, but more importantly they are helping curb my snacking while eating habit. Plus they’re good. Here we go…

Run Walk. I took a walk in the afternoon and went out to a turn around I walk to pretty often. I usually go around this pole, but randomly touched it and turned back today. This reminded me of high school, when you would have to run to a goal post or some specific point and everyone would hit it before going back.

Eat.

Started the day with iced coffee, per usual.

i need sleep and coffee

And after my run made a green smoothie with pineapple.

Then, heated up this fancy looking omelet.

Snack time included an apple and some almond butter. No picture. Trust.

Lunch! This is the Chicken Burrito Bowl. I put it on spinach to make a big ol’ salad.

Afternoon snack thanks to General Mills’ delivery of one of my favorite foods – GRANOLA! Love. I don’t buy it very often because I cannot control myself around this stuff so I am really enjoying it.

Dinner was my first zucchini noodle experience! I have heard good things about spiralizers and noodles make from vegetables and finally got to try them myself.

It was part of the Chicken Parmesan meal.

Dessert was a visit to my happy place…

That cupcake in the fridge was calling out to me last night…but I didn’t succumb! LOL! Had a handful of roasted cashew nuts instead.

Today I went a little crazy with desserts so I had a chocolate chip cookie, a shortbread cookie and some Reese’s minis. I really need to cut back on my sugar intake! 🙂

Yes! I have to either touch the turnaround point or step on the certain turnaround line. Lol, even on the dog walk, I have a specific turnaround spot my foot must touch. Dessert was the usual couple squares of chocolate, tonight’s had cinnamon and chili in it….yummmm

haha I definitely do not touch the turnaround point BUT that would probably be a good thing to do because when I’m lazy I just kinda eyeball it and turn around mayyyybe a bit early 🙂

I am guessing you didn’t care for the meals since you only reviewed the snacks? Too bad they look pretty good!

I was thinking the same thing! When you sign up to review these things, isn’t there some obligation (self-imposed or company-imposed) to give actual feedback?

I used to always touch my turn around point when running or walking…my husband came with me once and was so stumped as to why we had to go touch the turn around point and not any less. I guess I am a little OCD with that! I had some sour patch kids yesterday…that was my dessert for a while! 🙂

I had a chocolate chip mug cookie for breakfast because I needed to get new pictures of it for my post. All in the name of sharing something wonderful with my readers! Too bad it turned out well the first time and I couldn’t make another one…

when i walk on the boardwalk and i get to the end i always touch the railing before going back. LOL!
I took a plain hershey bar and melted it in the microwave and then stirred in 2 huge tablespoons of crunchy natural peanut butter and ate it with a spoon. It was heavenly. If only i had a bowl of ice cream to put it on. MMMMMM….

I love the idea of meal delivery service, we have Sprig in San Francisco where for $12 they deliver a hot cooked meal, but it would be better to have it all on hand! Did you love the zoodles?? I am so obsessed with spiralizing, you must get one! And do it with sweet potato fries 🙂
