Hello! Happy Friday. How was your week?
I’m currently sipping some tea being all reflective and whatnot about my goals. I’ve teamed up with Lorna Jane to share a giveaway of their Move Nourish Believe Diary and they sent me one to use.
It’s funny that this reminded me I used to totally have a diary as a little girl. And Run Eat Repeat is a diary – hello, web-log = blog = public diary of sorts!
So, I guess I never stopped keeping one? Can’t stop. Won’t stop.
The LJ diary is intended to help you plan and keep track of your year. It has calendars for each month, fitness challenges, healthy living tips and more. I really like that it looks so sweet and cute – like a girly book and not school schedule or business calendar.
I love a good goal (I’m super ‘into’ New Year’s Resolutions and actually love Mondays!). So, I’m excited to make a plan and get ready to attack ‘em! I wanted to share some of my tips on staying on track to reach your goals.
5 Tips To Reach Your Goals:
1. Identify a specific goal. Write it down. Take a picture. Record it.
2. Set a date to reach the goal. Add in check-ins dates for milestones to keep you on track and moving forward.
3. Make a plan. Write down what you need to do / learn / change to get your goal.
4. Tell someone. Get help on this in a way that motivates you. Tell a friend that can help keep you accountable. Make a bet. Join a team. Put yourself out there as needed.
5. Gooooooo! Go after it full force and keep the momentum up by checking in with yourself on your progress at the end of each week.
The lovely people at Lorna Jane also sent me a new outfit that matches my journal. I guess I should take it with me whenever I wear this
I like the back on this tank, but I think my sportsbra kinda ruins it.
I can’t bring sexy back because I lost the receipt.
