Run Eat Repeat

I have a drinking problem

My name is Monica, and I have a drinking problem.

I drink soooo much. Not necessarily alcohol (okay sometimes), but liquids in general. Drinking 2 cans of La Crotch is totally normal for me with a meal (previously that would be diet Coke). I also drink a lot of water. Since I want to be a hippie and save the world, I should try to save water and drink more vodka. Does anyone else feel like they drink a lot?

Lunch started with a salad…dscn6797

then, my fave sandwich – PB&PBdscn6798

for dessert: grapes and blackberries.dscn6799

My belly – I wasn’t hungry for a snack around my normal snack time. This intuitive eating thing is really weird. I kept questioning, like every 5 minutes, Am I hungry now?…How about now? …Now? Finally, after about a half an hour I ate my yogurt/pumpkin butter/cereal mix. dscn6802I don’t think I was that hungry yet, but I have stuff to do after work and would be ravenous when I got home without a snack…

Hey Monica! I’m working on intuitive eating as well and find myself sitting at my desk going “hungry yet? now? now??? maybe now???” Frustrating! The last couple of days I’ve been trying to wait 10 minutes from the onset of possible hunger to make a final decision to eat or not. I would love to get to the point where I’m not contstantly thinking about eating.

I OD on water too. Remember when a radio station had that contest to see who could drink the most water and not go to the bathroom? And they would win a wii or something? I always think about that lady who died, because I think I drink too much water. I’m such a weirdo.

I’m the same way with my intuitive eating. When you’ve been eating when your not truly hungry for so long, you forget what it feels like to be a little hungry. It’s such an arduous process for me.
