Friday Weigh In– I weighed myself on Ben’s scale this morning & it showed a loss! But, I’m not getting too excited since our scales may be a bit off from each other. Either way, I’ll take it!
Sleep Diet Challenge– This is not going well. I didn’t get 8 hours last night, more like 7ish? I need to tell myself that I obligated to be somewhere at 9pm – in my room reading or blogging, so that by 9:30pm I am ready to sleep.
W/O: Friday is my rest day from running so I did some random push-ups and took a walk 🙂 I really wish I could have done something else since I walked so much last night, but no time.
Breakfast: oatmeal & stuff with blackberries. I have a lot of fruit to eat after a Costco run yesterday. I also bought my first watermelon of the year. I am so happy, it’s sick.
Lunch:Chik’n patty on alt bagel (I’ve decided I do not like how these taste and they are not worth the calories saved since I don’t enjoy it.) and carrots & celery wit hummus
On the side – a big bowl of mango and blackberries. I can eat massive amounts of fruit, I think my body is super sensitive to fruit sugars & doesn’t tell me when I should stop…
Running Shoes– I am in need of new running shoes, so I decided to use a Sport’s Authority gift certificate I had and get them there. I got the usual, Asics Gel Nimbus – these work for me, but every runner is different & I totally believe you need to find the best shoes for you. Moral of the story – between a 25% off certificate and the gift certificate I spent $70.00 on $120.00 shoes! Boo ya!

I made a goal to try to get more sleep too, and I’m really not hitting it. The thing is, I know I would feel so much better if I did! But even today, a SATURDAY, I got up at 5:30!
