30 DAYS

21 May

There are only 30 days until my wedding! I have so so much to do it’s crazy.

I was MIA after lunch yesterday because I had wedding tasks after work. I also have a lot of stuff to do everyday for the rest of the week. Then, Ben is leaving for NJ next Friday and I’m meeting him there the following  Monday. So, I need to accomplish a lot before then!

Wedding Dress: I did get to see and try on my dress Monday 🙂 It’s coming along well and is almost done. For those that don’t know – I am having my dress made and it has taken a while to see it!

W/O: I did 5 miles with some hills today. I was going to skip the hills, but I’m glad I did them 🙂 I did some light stretching when I got home and plan on a walk later.

Breakfast – I was thinking about breakfast while running, I really wanted a BIG bowl of oatbran. I love how full it makes me.  I mixed 1/3c oatbran, almond milk, a super ripe banana, salt and water. Topped with Almond Butter and Peanut Butter and after the pic I added brown sugar. DSCN9198

DSCN9196I can’t decide which I like better so I wanted to try them side by side. PB and AB are so different, but I love them both!

I also ate some watermelon while cutting it this morning 🙂 But, that’s always assumed when there’s watermelon around!

So, any advice for how to stay sane over the next 30 days???

Again, here’s my schedule for the next 30+ days:

– New Jersey  for Ben’s brother’s graduation

– Maryland for meetings

– Florida for Ben’s annual family vacation

– Back home to work for a week

– Paso Robles, CA for wedding

– Honeymoon

– Back home for a few

– To be announced soon!

THIS IS YOUR YEAR.

I’m getting married May 31st so I’m right in the middle of freakout city. If you read my last post you’ll see the most recent one. They’re all so stupid but everything keeps setting me off….can’t WAIT until the honeymoon!!!

*SQUEEE* how exciting! My top tips:
      1. Keep to-do lists
      2. ASK FOR HELP
      3. Tell people if you’re feeling overwhelemd or whatever
      4. Spend some quality time with your man – the last couple of days before our big day were the coolest, knowing we were gonna do this amazing thing!
      5. Make a packing list for your honeymoon
      6. Enjoy yourself!

I have been running for a really long time. I also did some rowing.. tris’ and so on. The only thing that kept me going when I had jam packed schedules was my mind.

You have to mentally create a plan for incorporating your workouts and then stick to it.

It is not really tough so long as you allot a time (preferably early in the day) for it

      I wish you well.

PS: I am a fitness freak and will start on that soon but for now my blog is all about apprehending some online criminals who target women of color.I hope to start a fitness blog soon.

Meanwhile take a peek at my site. It might be a long post but it is a good warning about Predators out there who look benign but are miscreants and vile criminals.

Again, I wish you the best for the next 30 days!!

Good luck with all the planning!!

I suggest maintaining sanity through meditation, continuing to eat right and exercise! You can do it!! You have to tell yourself to remain calm.

      Have a great weekend!!

Don’t want to lose it? Plan absolute dates with your man where you don’t talk about the wedding- only the happily ever after. 🙂 -e
