Run Eat Repeat

Hello again, from Charlotte

Hello friends, I am back at the Charlotte airport. Hopefully this time I will be out of here in an hour – not 7 like Tuesday. I’m optimistic!

My flight out of Gulfport left at 7:20am this morning. I brought along magazines and coffee. I’m normally not a coffee drinker, but I like to get them sometimes because it makes me feel like an adult 🙂IMG_1545

I ate half a naner with PB squeezed out of a baggie (poor blogger’s BB packets!) on the flight. I was trying to just tide my hunger over so I could eat at the Charlotte airport.IMG_1550

I was so looking forward to a Jamby! I got the Berry Topper. IMG_1560Smoothies and granola are two of my favorite things and putting them together makes me almost too happy!IMG_1558

I love that Jamby provides the nutrition information for their smoothies and foods 🙂IMG_1553

Marathon Training: I plan on running after work today. I’m a morning runner all the way so that might be tough, but we’ll see what I can bust out.

Now I am blogging away and eating my smoothie. I am a little happy camper 🙂 See ya later!IMG_1562IMG_1563*Note: I took this pic of myself in the middle of the airport.  Many onlookers thought I was a weirdo, this happens so often now I don’t even care.

THIS IS YOUR YEAR.

I really need to get on that bandwagon for the Jamba Juice smoothies with granola. I have seen it on so many blogs! We have tons of Jamba Juices here in LA, but I rarely go to them

Jamba Juice is amazing. I hope your travels treated you well this week! I love the PB in a baggie – I hadn’t thought of that, although oddly, it’s one of my favorite ways to transport salad dressing with my lunch.

Hallie – yeah I totally get that. There are a lot of places I am afraid of eating at because I’ve decided it was “evil” in a past life.

You know what’s silly? So even though Jamba Juice can totally fit into a healthy diet, for some reason it’s on my “evil” list…like along with Cold Stone and “real” Mexican food. I think it’s because when I was heavy, a Jamba smoothie would be a snack, or like, the beverage I’d have with my meal, as opposed to it being the meal. I just can’t shake that mindset though…you know what I mean?

I did not take advantage of the jamba juice near my old school enough. You don’t know what you got til it’s gone

The pb in a baggie comes out much nicer than barney butter packets! It looks perfect.

Question – do you ever have a binge that you don’t feel guilty about? I experienced this last night…I won’t go into details, okay maybe a box of cookies was involved, but I didn’t feel guilty at all.

Julie – yeah, that’s happened to me before. If I totally overeat, but don’t feel overly full I figure maybe my body was truly hungry with a capital H and I didn’t realize.

Exactly! That’s how I felt last night. I didn’t feel gross, just satisfied. I guess I needed calories, be it from cookies or elsewhere.
