Run Eat Repeat

On Running and Eating Alone

My Life

Hello! I am blogging from an airplane way up in the sky. {waves}

flying for thanksgiving (800x600)

I am going to Florida. It’s a bit of a last minute trip and I wanted to fill you in a teeny tiny bit since I’ll be blogging from a different location this week.

A while back I shared that I was going through a hard time. I couldn’t really give a lot of information at the time because I didn’t know what the hell was happening. I truly didn’t have a good explanation. I still don’t.

All I can really say is, Ben and I are facing a challenging time in our relationship.

I am just filling ya in a bit since it does have an impact on my running and eating – which is what RER is about…

It affected my eating because I was very stressed. I am back to eating what is usual for me, but I didn’t want to cook for a bit so it was a lot of quick and convenient foods. (The Blue Apron delivery helped me get back in the kitchen, which was nice.)

I’ve also been drinking more, mostly because it’s what I do when I go out with my friends, it’s social. I’ve been trying to keep myself busy. I’m not sitting at home alone hitting the bottle so I’m not worried about it.

i regret nothing

When things first started to happen I was two days out from the Ventura marathon and shouldn’t have been running so quickly after 26.2 miles but I needed to for mental health. Running is my therapy. I took it easy and just went out to breathe.

let go

I am a very positive, grateful person. Even on the worst day of my life I am still extremely blessed. I live in America. I have an amazing family. I have a job that I love (thank you for reading RER). I know God. I have a great place to live.

There are probably people in other parts of the world would love to trade places with me. So, I’m very very grateful for the things I do have.

I am going to visit Ben and his family in Florida for Thanksgiving (for new readers – that’s where he is from and his fam lives).

emotions

Relationships are complicated and I am only one side of the story. I’m also the only one that asked to put their business on the internet – I appreciate you giving us privacy on this.

I’ll still be blogging (and running and eating) from Florida – thank you again for following along in my lil life journey.

And now I am getting excited for my favorite day of the year – THANKSGIVING!!!!!
