Hello from Florida! I’m still enjoying the weather and beautiful beaches down here for the holidays. Love it.

florida sunset blog (800x450)

Yesterday Ben and I headed to the beach for sunset and it was so gorgeous! We walked to the end of the beach and had it all to ourselves. That’s hard to find in SoCal!

My best eats was the meal I had at a Spanish restaurant, Republica, with colleagues. I could have their Pan Al Queso, Leches Fritos, and Sangria daily!

Thanks for talking about so many things on your blog, you truly are an inspiration. I myself have been struggling with my unwanted weight all my life, even as a teenager I was always a little on the chubby side and got picked on frequently. However as an adult things changed for worse as I gained even more pounds particularly after my first pregnancy. However lately I have lost almost 40 pounds, after a friend of mine shared a diet newsletter from a German diet guru with me, so in an effort to give back here is a link to the free newsletter for women: http://bit.ly/1kxNYvM

Hi! Just catching up on your posts and realized you are in Tampa!! So I wanted to invite you to come run with my running group (RUN TAMPA) for our group run on Saturday, Jan 2nd. We will be meeting at Hyde Park Village at 7AM. There’s a couple of parking garages there with free parking and we meet by the fountain in the middle of the shopping village. We run down Bayshore Blvd. to Davis Islands and back. If you can’t make Saturday, we also have a group that meets there on Sunday too. Would love to meet you in person!!

My best eat this year was a salmon coconut curry I made at home. SO easy and freakin delish. If anyone needs the recipe let me know. My best run was maybe my worst but my most memorable – It was was 2nd Half Marathon IN MY LIFE in San Diego (Americas Finest City). It was over 90 degrees but at least I finished without dying. I am ready to sign up for some new races in 2016 . For anyone living in So Cal here is the 411 – use code ESCA30 for 30% off until midnight TONIGHT!!!! For these races: http://www.elitesportsca.com
PLEASE sign up tonight and find me after the race for drinkies 🙂 xoxo

My best run was the holiday Windows run I did with my friend Lisa. We stopped to see the tree at Rockefeller center and lots of department store windows too.
Best eat was the ice cream sundae I just made myself.

Best eat would have to be Christmas Eve. I ate and ate and ate everything in sight! Best run would have to be all my beach runs. Those are my absolute favorites.

Best eat this month was the clam chowder that my boyfriend made – gotta love a man who cooks! 🙂

And all the holiday candy I ate, that was good too!
