His And Hers Oats In A Jar

Breakfast

You know you’re in love when you’re willing to share an almost empty jar of PB with someone…IMG_6200

IMG_6202Last night I made Ben and myself Overnight Oats in a Jar. I had two near empty jars of PB and thought this was an easy and delicious idea.

He liked it, but was a little weirded out by it at first. At one point he said, “I’m chewing on a big chunk of something and I don’t know what it is…”

Ha! It was a chunk of PB. He doesn’t understand the art of eating oats in a jar. Sorry Ben, you’re not ready for oats in a jar yet.

In the mix: oats, greek yogurt, soymilk, chia seeds, cinnamon, banana and stevia. This morning I added a few cranberries too.IMG_6203

I am on my way to kickboxing – yeah, I’m totally obsessed 🙂

And then I have a fun lunch date! See you in a bit…

Happy Friday!!!

Just found your blog today. Love it! Our backstories are quite similar.

I have yet to try the OIAJ (oats in a jar). I see them all over the blog community. Me thinks it’s time to give them a shot.

what the heck is overnight oats in a jar… it looks like you put oatmeal in a pb container… that’s what it is right? please tell me it doesn’t sit overnight before you eat it. I guess I’m with Ben, really not ready.

Yes, it’s soaking oats in yogurt and milk overnight in a jar. Okay, that sounds gross when I type it out, but I swear it’s good 🙂

I think I’ll know I’ve found love when I can willingly sacrifice an empty pb jar for a man and make OIAJ and he enjoys it as much as I.
I don’t get people who find it weird. You’re saving yourself a bowl to clean and eating oatmeal out of a jar that once housed peanut butter. How is that weird?

That means you’re not eating enough PB on a daily basis 😉
