Hello! How’s it going? Today I’m busy doing non-blog things like getting my dog’s haircut and going to the bank and catching up with my little brother on life. But before all that I hitched a ride to my favorite running spot… iced coffee in hand. You know.
My run was good. I didn’t hit the target paces that I was hoping for, but I am still just trying to assess my current fitness level and appropriate goals. I did a tempo run of 1 mile w/u, 5 miles tempo, 1 mile cool down.
Post run I had a little almond accident. I get a little lot excited when I eat. This drip is nothing compared to how much soy sauce I got on my shirt last night.
And then I headed to my familia’s to take Roxy to the groomer.
I ate all my mom’s food and drank all her creamer while I hung out.
I was also able to bust out a freelance article and eat lunch while I waited for her! I am productive
Question: What do you put in your coffee?
I put stevia and almond milk in at home, but when I’m out I go all crazy and just use whatever.

Stevia & 1%milk rocks! I’ve tried vanilla almond milk in iced & hot coffee, but to me it tastes like card board! No comparison to any kind of cow’s milk. Anyone agree?

I use a little dash of cane sugar in the raw and some almond milk in my cafecito.

No sugar for me, but a little coconut oil and a little more “light” coconut milk from Trader Joe’s when I am at home (hot coffee). For iced coffee at home it’s unsweetened, vanilla almond milk. For either kind, when I’m out, it’s a teeny tiny splash of half/half. I try to avoid dairy in general and I need so little of the half-half it doesn’t upset the system too much if I use a little bit when I’m out.

My favorite trick when i’m looking for something a little different is to mix a tiny bit of cinnamon into the grounds before I turn the pot on. Tastes like Christmas when you mix in a little vanilla almond milk.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who eats all my mom’s food when I go to visit. She jokes that that dog doesn’t like me anymore because I always come over to eat all the food.
I am an iced coffee with a splash of vanilla coconut milk kinda girl as of late 🙂

Iced coffee? I usually put in whatever creamer I have on hand (I’m trying to be better about measuring it), but occasionally, I’ll go the straight half and half route.

Nada. I like my coffee black!

Just stevia!

Just milk (and some sneaky sugar……d’oh!)
Roxy looks such a lovely friend and the picture is great. Thanks for continuing the great nlog .

I like my coffee creamy – so it’s a mix of sweetened condensed creamer and soy milk. With some sugar of course.
Erika @ Barbells & Bookends says
Flavored creamer and sugar. My favorite creamer right now is hazelnut
Sara @ Oats & Rows says
I drink coffee with only a little bit of creamer and no sugar. I just love the taste of pure coffee!
Kristen says
I weaned myself off the sugar and now just use the half and half.

Have you tried Silk’s new almond milk creamer?! It’s to die for! I use that at home and work. If I’m out and about, sometimes I just drink it black if there are a lack of dairy free options. It just depends!

I drink straight espresso but had to switch to decaf because I liked the taste but not how unpredictably my body responded to caffeine!
Kathy says
sugar free vanilla creamer….all the time 😉

Hi,
I am wondering what does almond milk taste like and why it’s so popular in America? We have almond milk here in Estonia, but it costs like 4 x times more than regular milk. Also, why would you use stevia rather than normal sugar? I mean if you put 2 teaspoons of sugar in your morning coffee that won’t kill you. Or are you addicted to coffee and drink like a gallon per day? 😀
Take care and have a nice day!

I do drink a lot of iced coffee. And I use stevia in my coffee because I eat a lot of sugar in other foods.

French Vanilla Creamer!!! Lots of creamer. It’s more like 3/4 creamer 1/4 coffee. LOL
