Hi! I hope everyone had a good and restful weekend, because I didn’t. I took an “Express” GRE class because I am planning on applying to grad school soon. So it was Saturday and Sunday 9am to 6:30pm and on top of that it was about 60 miles away so I had to add major driving time to that. After this weekend I need another weekend. I do have to give a public “Thank You” to the BF for being so helpful this weekend. I did take pics of all my foodies this weekend, but I don’t want to recap today. I am swamped with work and I have some other outside work projects to take care of. I was so stressed I came home last night and drank half a bottle of wine. That is out of character for me, normally I drink one glass and then pour my wine in the BF’s glass when he’s not looking (but I think he knows).
Breakfast today was Rudi’s Bagels! I was so excited to find these over the weekend. We had an hour long break in the class and walked around and stumbled on a Whole Foods. I checked it out to see if there was anything I couldn’t normally find. This Comfort Bar is a new find too. I’ll review it later tonight.
Rudi’s Bagel for breakie with PB&J, and a naner on the side. I also had some milk (no pic). I had a couple of bites of this fruit salad (made with greek yogurt) before lunch and also some dirty grapes after running an errand. I put some Kashi granola on the fruit salad for some crunch, but it got all soggy by the time I was eating! Very disappointing! I wish I would have put nuts on top or packed it separate.
Lunch was a turkey sammie 🙂 Sometime a good sandwich is just so satisfying.
Back in action
I didn’t get to do a long run this weekend because I had to leave the house at 7:40am to get to class on time. That was a super bummer, but I will just move forward and stick to my plan this week. I am going to try to incorporate strength training into my plan Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from now on. I have to buy some heavier weights tonight to get this done!
