Hello from Mississippi. I am staying in the “camp” with the volunteers. I was expecting a real camp, but it’s a cute little building with bunks for men and women and a communal kitchen. I ate dinner and breakfast with everyone and it was a great way to get to know the volunteers.
w/o: no workout today, but I’m figuring I’m going to be on my feet all day so I’m not gonna worry about it.
This morning I had 2 instant packets of oatmeal – 1 plain, 1 banana nut and topped it with raisin bran. OJ on the side for some kind of fruit? Last night I had the salad I bought at the airport, plus rice, broccoli and a piece of bread (from the camp dinner). I love bread 🙂
A bit later I ate this bar and an apple.
Now I’m getting ready to head out to the job site. Again, I’m covering a story of a home destroyed by hurricane Katrina, being rebuilt. See ya later!

I’m excited to see pictures from the job site. It’s amazing work they’re doing and I’m glad to see that people haven’t forgot about the Katrina victims.
Good luck and have fun today!
