How do you bring balance to your life?
From a few recent posts you know that I am no stranger to girl talk. I’m not embarrassed to talk about it because it is so important to take care of ourselves! But before this partnership, I asked myself…why use a special wash for different parts of your body?
Here are two major reasons: (1) their pH wash is the ONLY wash with LactoprebioticTM AND (2) it is clinically proven to help maintain a healthy intimate pH for all day confidence.
After looking into it I learned:
2 out of 3 women have sensitive skin in the intimate parts of their body; so many products on the market can easily irritate them, or leave a burning sensation after use. This pH balance wash does the total opposite. It is clear and feels like any normal body wash. It smells pretty good too! Super light and fresh, and it provides comfort all day after taking a shower, especially after a good run!
I already use a special sensitive pH wash for my face to prevent breakouts, so it makes sense to use a complimentary pH product on other parts of your body as well to bring some balance to your life. And I randomly found out that my best friend uses it daily…she swears by it! I was hesitant about talking about this wash, but she encouraged me because she’s a big fan.
She’s also a big fan of the color purple and would love the robe in the giveaway but I told her she’s not eligible for it. Sorry, kid.
Speaking of balance… I am obsessed with having a smoothie after running lately. But the cold sweet smoooooth-ness needs some crunch to be more satisfying so I balance it out with some crunchy salted nuts. This is perfection.
There is a major HEAT WAVE in SoCal and all I want to eat are smoothies, slurpees, and watermelon. A lot of it. Have any of you ever put watermelon in your smoothies? It’s a good idea if you buy a big one and don’t eat it all before it goes bad (that’s not a problem I have). I probably should figure out how to balance my watermelon obsession with other healthy options but I’m busy balancing other stuff right now thanks…
My mom had a watermelon waiting for me to cut when I went over the other day and I tried to get Bailey to take a pic with it. He wasn’t feeling super photogenic and refused to pose. I told him some days we feel good and some days we feel like a busted can of biscuits but it all balances out.
30-Day Yoga Challenge Update
I started my 30-Day Yoga Challenge because I needed to balance out all the running I do and calm some of the stress in my life.
Today is day 9 and I’ve stuck with it every single day so far! I’m super proud of myself!
I really really feel so good after I do it. Physically I feel better and I just feel more calm and less anxious after I do a session.
(I’m doing the 30-day yoga with Adrienne.)

Michelle B says
Running is how I keep balance in my life. It lets me destress even though it sometimes is stressful itself. But all in all, it lets me work out all my issues on the pavement.
Brooke says
To keep balance I work hard but make a point to spend time with family, have relaxing weekends with my husband, eat good food, exercise & be active daily. I try to get enough rest but I’m still working on balancing that.
Emily says
I balance my need to go-go-GO all day with 8 hours of sleep (most) nights.
Michelle says
I know it sounds cleeshay but running brings me balance. I will usually go out after work and it let’s me transition from work to mom. I also plan the night out….supper, homework, sports, what needs to get done for a better next day. PS purple is my most favorite color!
Jenny Sanders says
I bring balance to my life through smiling! Whenever life is so crazy stressful and I feel like my head will explode with things to do, then I just smile and remember that everything is okay and life goes forward as long as I smile. If I can still control the muscles on my face to smile, then I can control the situation I’m in and relax!
runeatrepeat says
I like when the yoga instructor reminds the class to smile 🙂
Marisa says
I bring balance by waking up 20 minutes early so I’m not rushed and get some “me” time before my work day begins.
Melissa H says
I bring balance to my life by taking naps! Even if only a short one, I’ve learned it really helps with my sleep defecit. Woo, naps!
Allie says
My balance comes from running! I balance that with other forms of exercise and doing my best to eat healthy during the week.

My morning walk with my dog Brady for 45 minutes it’s just the 2 of us enjoying nature and getting ready for the day. Feel out of sorts when we can’t walk together.

Rebecca @ simply-rebecca says
I maintain balance by allowing myself indulgences, and not just when it comes to food/ drink! I try to read “serious” literature 80% of the time, but I also like to read those romance novels for fun to balance it out (you, the ones with Fabio on the cover, lol). Also, during the week I pack my lunch and bring my coffee from home, but on Fridays, I get a salad and a kombucha on tap from Whole Foods as a treat. It wouldn’t be economical to eat out for lunch every day, but I would also get bored and sad if I brought my lunch each day. This way, my Fridays out seem extra special 🙂
Judy says
I started the 30 day yoga challenge after your post too and it’s been amazing. I think it kept me from killing my husband one night. Zen y’all.
Running is a great balance as well. Then again, so are pastries and coffee too.

Hi, I’ve been a long-time reader of your blog, but I just have to be honest and say that there are so many pop ups on the blog, that I can barely get through your blog posts (which I love). They pop up constantly, or get in the way of reading…..just wanted to be honest.
runeatrepeat says
Thank you for telling me. I’m working on a redesign and pointed this out to my web guy. I’m going to share this message with him.
Kelly says
Awesome. Thanks for caring 🙂 And I HATE to say a single negative thing (too much of that in the world) but I wondered if you were aware of if it was an issue for others. THANKS. Keep up the great work.
Katie says
Definitely not just you. I’m glad to hear a fix is in the works!
Deb says
I’ve added cycling and swimming to my routine. Loving both! I’ve started getting up at 5am to leave the house by 5:30 to get a mini-brick of biking & running in before work. Swimming gets -fit in when it can. When I get back from my morning bike/run, I’ll make a smoothie. Watermelon smoothie sounds wonderful!!! After trying to work out every week day morning I spend weekends relaxing on the beach. Balance!!!
I love purple and hope I win this robe. It looks so soft and cuddly. I bet my cat will like it too! Thanks for the opportunity. 🙂

Tina says
I get balance to my life right now with naps on the weekend as I am in marathon training (my first one, on Oct 9th) and I have the feeling that the long runs in addition to my full time work, and dog walks, and gardening are really tiring me. I also eat healthy, mostly clean with lots of fresh fruit and veggies that are in season.
