Busy, doesn’t even begin to describe it. I have been non-stop since this weekend which is why I’m a bag blogger. I’m sorry! I feel sorry for me too, because I really enjoy the b.l.o.g.
My stress and busy-ness has taken a toll on my eating. So, I haven’t wanted to post my eats because they are a bad example of how to deal with life’s crazy times.
On orders of the RD I am observing without judgement. I think this is key of overcoming issues with food because you really need to get to know & really face your individual issues as you live your little day.
Lesson learned:
– I will eat when I’m watching the Food Network at night just because I have food on my mind. This happened on Monday after a very full day of healthy eats 🙁
>Don’t watch Diners,Drive-ins and Dives at night.
>Go to sleep when you’re tired, NOT to the kitchen
Lesson learned :
– I use food to deal with anxiety and stress
>Write about what’s bothering me
>Get organized and make a list of tasks, so I won’t be as stressed
These are just 2 of the things I’ve had to learn the hard way this week. I got a notebook to write in and I hope that will help me continue to make progress 🙂
In other news – We are postponing the honeymoon until September. I’m sad, but it’s for a good cause 🙂 so, it’s for the best.
Despite 3 days of emotional eating I decided today was a new day and got back on track. Six miles in the morning is a great way to start a Wednesday, no?
Breakfast was cereal because I love it 🙂
Plus half a naner with PB. I’ve discovered the way to make cereal keep you full longer is to have some PB with it or on the side. Do it.
Then I had some grapes before leaving to see Ben’s family. They got in from Florida Monday night and I’ve been too busy to even visit with them!
I took them to Laguna Beach and we checked out the beautiful cliffs that go right up to the water.
Then, someone suggested ice cream and you guys know I’ve never turned down ice cream in my life…

“Don’t watch Diners,Drive-ins and Dives at night.” That show makes me so hungry, and want to go on a road-trip! Unfortunately most of that food does not look healthy. 🙂
Never been to Laguna Beach! How pretty!

Oh Haagen-Dazs, how I love thee. My husband came home with two pints of the stuff last night and I made him a sundae with cookies and cream, chocolate chips and dried coconut! He also brought home one of their Taste 5 ice creams (I think it’s called that??). It has just five ingredients in it! I’m so curious 🙂
Have a great day!

Is that Haagen-Daz Softserve!!??? OH man I am obsessed with soft serve. Haagen-Daz is so decadent, is their soft serve the same?
Totally agree with you about PB along with cereal for staying power.

Hang in there with all of the wedding craziness! I know it is easier said than done! I think that a September honeymoon sounds awesome. It will totally give you something to look forward to at the end of the summer.
