Hello! How are ya?

Have you tried Cashew Milk yet? I’m trying it right this second. Yes, as you are reading this I am chug-chug-chugging.

Last night I made a very fancy dinner a la Blue Apron. I am pretty excited about this since I haven’t been in the cooking spirit these days. More on this soon (with a discount code holla).

Now it’s time for my Favorite things from this week!!!

celestial seasonings blog 8

1. Lace top I wore in Boulder. Still loving it!

This lace top and this lace option are similar. I want one in another color too.

2. My best friend. Some weeks we are like ships passing in the night, but lately we’ve been talking non-stop and it makes me happy.

3. Unbroken. I saw the previews for it when I went to the movies on Monday and I really want to finish the book now! I’m almost done.

4. My new make-up bag for my purse – so I don’t have to grab lip gloss and whatever for my purse when I’m walking out the door.

5. Looking up Halloween Costumes.

Ha! I have been entertaining myself with this all week…

I have been listening to the audiobook of Unbroken – amazing story!

My favorite thing this week is how clean our house is! We put it up for sale, so it’s SUPER tidy.

I love the costumes! I always tell my husband I am going to dress our cat up and he gets so mad. He thinks pet costumes are ridiculous but I think they are awesome! My baby girl is dressing up as a cat for Halloween this year – maybe i should dress my cat up as a baby girl?

I loveee cashew milk! Homemade trumps all store-bought kinds any day but for convenience Silk is always an awesome choice.

OH MY GOSH! Those Halloween costumes are hilarious! I need a costume for this year but have been completely uninspired to put together something creative. Probably just going to buy a $3 pair of cat ears from Target and call it a day. Hahaha

I’ve heard cashew milk is great for people who find almond milk too strong! I always put it in smoothies / baking, but drinking it? Bleh. I should definitely find some of the cashew ASAP!

I think that lion cat might be my favourite thing of the week. I have been trying to find one fore my parents very grumpy orange cat Gus for quite some time with no luck. Maybe this year 🙂

I’m 3/4 of the way done with Unbroken! The first third of the book was a little slow but it really picks up. I want to finish before the movie comes out! Cashew milk is delicious btw and so is cashew butter 🙂

I think it’s similar to almond milk, but a little more mild. I love it! The unsweetened is very low in calories – 25 and I think 2g of fat. Unfortunately no protein (as is the problem with all these kinda nut milks).

Ahhh! I need to try that cashew milk! I had no idea that even existed! I’m an avid almond milk drinker and sometimes coconut milk, but always looking for new options. I hope they sell this in my store!
