Confession: Iām considering throwing out everything in my closet and just wearing watermelon all the time. I figure I always have watermelon drippings on my shirt anyway ā might as well go with it. So, here is my favorite things from the week including my latest watermelon gear obsessions.
First > Breakfast. Today was a rest day and I really really needed it. My legs felt super tired yesterday.
Eating was my cardio for the day
And now here are my favorite things from the week!
1. This new ādietā ice cream. I donāt know what else to call it ā this Halo Top is low calorie, delicious ice cream. But for real. I grabbed some this week and normally donāt eat a whole pint in one shot ā well now I do.
2. Watermelon Bikini. I donāt normally do string bikini tops because I need a little extra on top, but I couldnāt resist!
Check out this watermelon tankini for a little more coverage or this watermelon bikini. And Iām 100% getting this one for my niece. Dying of cuteness.
Should I pair it with these Watermelon shoes or is that crazy? (Too bad Iām going to do it anyway while eating watermelon.)
If I had a million dollars I would buy this watermelon kiss shirt. For now Iāll just dream (like I do about chocolate and ice cream and pizza).
3. My Sheex. Iām still having problems with night sweats. Itās really frustrating. But at least Iām not waking up in a pool of sweat. Ugh. The Sheex help! Now I just need my body to work with me.
4. Thai food.
Thai food is my favorite food of the world. I am obsessed. And itās my dream of life to go to Thailand. I basically went to China for the food so I figure I need to go to Thailand next, right?
Iām basically stalking Groupon and other sites for a Thailand travel deal night and day. Then, Iām going to go there and eat all the Pad Se Ew and be happy forever. The end.
And today was gloomy and sad so I tried to make it better with a milkshake. It worked. Magic.
5. Iām writing for the Womenās Running website!
Check out my first post 4 Tips to Motivate Yourself to Run!Ā <<< Iām super excited about this opportunity and really appreciate all your support.

I have those same sandals in that watermelon bikini picture!
Anywhere in the world for food: Italy. Hands down. Mostly because I’ve been to Puerto Rico and Ireland which were also at the top of my list for food.

Italian food hands down. Then a Tuscany wine tour to wash it all down.

Italy for food!
Do you have a fan? I sleep with a fan blowing in my face all year around.

I liked your first Women’s Running Article. Those are some great tips. If I could eat anywhere it would be Italy. That food is just the best!

I just went to Thailand….it was BEYOND AMAZING! GO GO GO! I had zero opinions on Thai food before i went (sad i know), but once i was there i decided I would not buy any souvenirs, all i need was food to remember the trip by. It was the very best ever.
Now I am back at home and thankfully there are a ton of Thai places within walking distance of my house. It is my goal to check out all of them. It doesn’t hurt that this is a typically inexpensive type of food!

LOVE the watermelon bikini! I seriously can’t believe that watermelon T-shirt is $250 tho! I mean it’s cute but not really $250 cute!
I have been to Thailand but was pretty conservative on the food I tried. There were a ton of street vendors but our hotel said if your system wasn’t use to the food it could cause upset. Since I tend towards tummy issues I kept to restaurants. It was all really good tho!
Two places I’d love to go for the food (and scenery) – Italy and Greece!

I’m obsessed with that watermelon bikini! Is that spag squash & egg in your first pic!?

That ice cream looks delicious! What is in it that makes it only 250 calories? Is it like Arctic Zero?

Favorite thing this week was commuting with my friend Lisa to work on Wednesday. We too the Ferry and it was a gorgeous day. I felt like Melanie Griffith in the movie Working Girl. LOL!

Night sweats…. OH MY GOSH I have been having them a lot lately too. I mean I am totally waking up in the middle of the night with the feeling that I just stepped out of the shower….yuk.
BUT, I figured at 46 I am going through a little pre-menopause; you are way too young for that.
So now, I may google it a little more to see what else causes night sweats. š
Elena says
I’m also 46 and had those for awhile (along with an irregular cycle) but all seems back to normal now……..but I hear “pre menopause” can last 10 years. Yippee š

Love it!!! I’ve been checking out Groupon for a good deal. It would be a dream š
What was your favorite part?
Jessica says
You can also hang out with baby tigers in Thailand, which is AWESOME. I would go for the pad thai and the tigers.
If I could go anywhere in the world for food, it would be Italy. Forever.
Karla @ Foodologie says
Thailand. You need to go. Seriously. Like a must. I went in February and decide I want to go back with all my friends and family. In fact, I wrote a blog post entitled “Thailand, or Where I Want Everyone To Go on Vacation” (http://foodologie.com/2015/03/14/thailand-or-where-i-want-everyone-to-go-on-vacation/).
Sooo much amazing food. China had awesome food, but Thailand’s food wins. The only place that MAYBE had better food was Peru.

I would absolutely looooveee to go to Tuscany and just relish in fresh foods made from the soul > at least that’s how they portray it in the movies š
My favorite this week is the alternating rainy and sunny days … a perfect balance!
Daisy @ Fit Wanderlust Runner says
I would love to go to Thailand. I wanted to go this year but we ended up moving to San Diego and bought a house, so those plans were put on hold for awhile.
Jillie says
If it’s any consolation, that pint doesn’t look too hard to finish! It’s not thaaat big. And I mean, it’s mint chocolate chip. Mint is a plant, plants are vegetables….sooo there.
Stephanie says
Where are those brown gladiator sandals in the pic with the watermelon from? Those are so cute!
Erin @ Erin's Inside Job says
I want to try and find less oily Thai food near me. I could eat their mango sticky rice all day long though.
My favorite thing this week is Goddess and Grocer which I have been waiting to open up for months right near my work. Now I actually have good food options when I’m in between classes!
