English Muffin Pizzas hold a special place in my heart. First, because Pizza is my favorite savory food. And second, because my mom used to make these for us growing up.
Wait – there’s a third reason today – I love using fun seasonal plates and my Easter plate from last year made me smile with tomato sauce in my teeth
Darn it.
I can’t really call this a “side salad” as it pretty much is so huge it dominated the entire table.
Spring is here! I’m planning on doing a post about how to make a *Bunny Cake before Easter so you can do it up too.
*Sorry boys, by “Bunny Cake” I don’t mean a cake in which Bridget will pop out of… Fun fact: I’ve met her when I was interning at a local TV station.

That is such a cute bunny cake. I love those girls though too, although my husband runs from the room if Kendra starts laughing 😛
Jessica says
You look uber cute in that photo holding your bunny cake. 🙂
Also, is Bridget as nice in person as she seemed on Girls Next Door?
Emma (Namaste Everyday) says
i tried to make a pita pizza the other day because I was craving an english muffin one! they don’t seem to have english muffins here in New Zealand…

For some strange reason, I now want to make a bunny cake 😉
Excited for the recipe!
Lauren says
Okay, I can honestly say I’ve never wanted to eat a bunny in my life more than I want to right now. Err…the cake bunny that is. The FIRST cake bunny.
Kate (What Kate is Cooking) says
I totally just got a childhood flashback from those English muffin pizzas! Good memories of eating those as a kid 🙂
Run Tara Run says
I love bagel pizza’s. They’re so easy to make for just 1 or 2 people and be able to personalize.
Olivia says
omg haha that’s really funny that you’ve met Bridget from playboy bunnies! English muffin pizzas seem to be all the rage right now…I love ’em too, but I’ve been absolutely CRAZY about pita pizzas recently, SO GOOD!
Ida says
My best friend growing up had a bunny cake for her birthday every year. it was really funny too b/c she hated coconut, but her mom kept making the cake anyway!
PS, i saw this vitatop deal and had to share:

Thanks Ida 🙂
I saw that deal too. It’s still cheaper to buy them at Costco if it’s available in your area.
Cyndi @ Weightless Life says
My mom definitely used to make those for me all the time. I was always so excited that I would burn the roof of my mouth trying to eat them right out of the oven.
Melissa @ TryingToHeal says
oh man, i haven’t had those kind of pizzas in a long time…but kid pizza reminds me of the French bread ones I used to get in Elementary school! those were always so good!
Lauren says
You met Bridget?!?! That’s so cool. I would love to meet her and Kendra. I could do without Holly for some reason. She kind of bugs me. 😉
runeatrepeat says
I like Holly!
Kara says
Bridget’s arms look creepily long in that pic!
I used to make english muffin pizzas for myself all the time as a kid, such a great meal!
Alaina says
I love making mini pizza’s. I like making them on top of pita bread from Trader Joe’s too. 🙂
Katie says
lol! love the end of this post! I think the guy readers would want the second bunny cake ; ) lol
Hope you have a great night!!
Christine @ Bookishly Boisterous says
I love bunny cakes… but had completely forgot about them! My mom used to make them when we were small- maybe I’ll make one this year for old time’s sake 🙂
Jenn says
Your pizza looks so good!!! How do you get it to look like that? What kind of cheese do you use?
runeatrepeat says
One piece was my last slice of cheddar and the other was shredded mozzarella. They were different, so they melted differently 🙂
Lisa says
Pizza is my favorite foods–definitely a trigger food for me too. I’ve never tried to make mini ones on English muffins though. It’s a good idea!
Katie @ running4cupcakes says
