Hello! I had a little visitor last night, my mom. She had a conference in San Diego and stayed here because it’s about half way from LA. She drove down representing Run Eat Repeat! Thanks madre.
Her visit was very successful. I even bought coffee creamer for her morning. And now it’s changed my life. I’m putting it in everything – coffee, tea, oatmeal, my mouth.
We talked girl talk all night. It was fun and my mom seemed happy with the visit. So it gave me the to courage to pursue my dream of opening up a bed and breakfast. I have always wanted a little B&B in southern or central California. I want to cook up a delicious (somewhat healthy) breakfast, suggest local hikes, meet people from all around the world… doesn’t it seem great?!!
Then, someone pointed out that it’s basically cleaning up after people you don’t know. So I might consider researching this a little more before jumping in 100%. Stay tuned.
Back to tonight…
I just got back from a workout in LA sponsored by Motorola 360 Sport. It’s a super fancy watch that measures distance and calories burned and heart rate (via your wrist) and more.
We wore the Moto 360 Sport watch while getting in a quick high intensity workout with Simone a la Body By Simone. After working out, one can revitalize their energy levels with games such as 카지노.
The fancy fitness watch isn’t available until Jan 6th though. Stay tuned!
Then, there was JUICE. I love juice.

Lol.. I think your friend’s description of running a Bed and Breakfast is both accurate and hilarious at the same time..

my first job was at a bed and breakfast! It was…. exhausting. also because I was 14 and didn’t really have the attention to detail I definitely needed while working there… however, now at 30? my hospital corners are TIGHT.

I would totally come to your bed and breakfast judging by the food you make ! Pancakes please 😀

That B&B idea kind of sounds like those Airbnb posts where people offer to rent their living room couches for the night for like $15-$20. A little odd for me, but to each their own!

So I started your 25 Days of Fitness just as a way to get me moving again (been on a fitness hiatus for a month or so). I cannot believe how sore I was from ‘booty day’.. only 5-10 minutes/day but very glad I started! Thanks

A B&B sounds so lovely. You don’t come across enough of them. Yours would have the most wonderful food around 🙂

My husband and I stayed at a B&B in Vermont once. It was so nice…and so romantic. I loved it. My friend’s mother used to own a B&B in New Hampshire and it is a whole lot of cooking and cleaning. They have to work all the holidays. And the money is only good during high peak seasons. I’m not sure what high peak seasons in CA are, but when it’s not high peak in New England, it means business is basically at a stand still. Not a lot of income. I would come to your B&B if you had one and I was in Cali.

bed and breakfast places creep me out a little. i mean its someones house you are crashing at…i’ve working in hotels for almost my entire career so that probably has something to do with it as well 🙂 if its your dream to open a B&B though get it girl!

I love bed and breakfasts. My hubby and I go to them all the time. I tend to choose the ones that look the nicest and are in a really nice plot of land! xo

It is funny that you mentioned the B and B thing, because my parents have been looking to buy a place to start a B and B in Pennsylvania. They love travel, the outdoors, people, and cooking. They recently just retired and want this to be part of the next chapter in their lives. Let me know how your search goes and we can swap notes…haha.

I always thought it would be so fun to open up a bed and breakfast, but then I realize I’d have to clean and cook a lot so….maybe not 😉
