One of my favorite things about running is the camaraderie between runners. I love saying “Good Job!” or “Keep it up!” to fellow runners. I love that we are sharing in this secret morning running club. This morning a fellow runner made a “whoop-whoop!” motion with his arm (but no words) to me. I thought it was fun 🙂
I did another 6 mile run, the same course as yesterday. I am determined to conquer that hill at mile 5!!!
Do you say anything to people that exercise around you?
This morning was another bowl of overnight oats. They are delicious and kept me full yesterday 🙂
In the mix 1/2c oats, 1/2 yogurt, >1/2c almond milk, raisins, cinnamon. This morning I added almond butter and Kashi Crunch! I left it in the tupperware I made it in to avoid an extra dish.
I have a conference I’m covering in DC today. Look at me, I’m like a real reporter or something!

i almost always use to say hello or some type of greeting but now too many people wear their ipods and it drives me crazy so i mostly just smile

I love cheering on other runners in the morning. Sometimes I even get a cheer from non-runners which is nice!
Juicy Jessy says
yep i ALWAYS yell “GOOD MORNING”
I say “yell” because everyone is wearing ipods these days 😉

I wave at runners that I pass along the way. Overnight oats are super yummy, aren’t they? 🙂
Andee (Runtolive) says
Every time I pass a runner I say ‘good morning’. It’s nice to have some interaction when you’re running alone
Danielle says
Have fun at your conference!

yep! I wave at other runners and I love when people wave at me. It’s funny though as sometimes people aren’t the “waving” type. There was a funny article about that in RW a couple of issues ago. Have fun at the conference. How do you make overnight oats?
