Today I tweeted that I was sick of being in Limbo and many of my fellow twitterers chirped in that they feel my pain.
Iām ready to move on and find a new job and plan the rest of my little year (including plan my race calendar!). But ā everything is on hold at least until the end of April! Hopefully it will be worth the wait!
Lunch was a mess. Not in how it tasted, but how it looked. Under this pile of tuna is a sandwich thin.
I filled it with veggies on one side and tuna on the other. When smashed together this sandwich stood tall. Be proud sandwich, be proud.
Question: Have you ever played Limbo?
Me: I think when I was a kid?. Now it just seems like the perfect opportunity for someone to get a crotch shot. My advice ā donāt play limbo in a dress.
Q2: Have you ever been in limbo in life?

At a friend’s birthday when I was little we went to a rollerskating rink and we did limbo on rollerskates. It was actually a competetion of who could last the longest as the bar got lower and lower and I won! I’m from California too, so I rollerbladed a lot when I was younger, not much now though; too many team sports!

I think I’m in limbo too. Never thought about it that way. I could of gone out and found a part-time office job but instead I work in retail begging for hours waiting to see what happens once my boyfriend comes home from Iraq in May. Not knowing the future stresses me out because I’m always one to plan in advance. I guess that is limbo?

I really like the fresh perpective you did on the issue. Really was not expecting that when I started off studying. Your concepts were easy to understand that I wondered why I never looked at it before. Glad to know that thereās an individual out there that definitely understands what heās discussing. Great job!

Your blog is great;
I’ve been in limbo before – my husband is an Air Force officer and after we had to move (and I had to quit my job) I was upset that I didn’t know what to do with myself. What actually happened, though, was that I had the time to do what I really wanted, which was go back to college to study something that really interested me and now I’m gearing up to apply to grad school. Sometimes those periods of uncertainty can really give you an opportunity to reinvent yourself.
Good luck & I hope that everything turns out well for you!

I found this site on faves.com social bookmarking site. I liked it and gave you a fave! By the way I also loved your blog theme! Did you develop it yourself or can I download it from somehwere?

I was in limbo a lot last spring – my husband accepted a job in another state – even started working there – but had to resign because I couldn’t find another job. His job was a huge promotion (he was able to return to his old job) but we couldn’t live on one income. I felt HORRIBLE!
Good luck with everything – at least the end of April isn’t that far away!

how did you make your tuna?! it looks SO good!

YES. ‘Nuff said.
Funny how things loom for so long but in one snap they are decided. You know?

I am totally feeling your pain, Monica! I am in limbo right now in terms of my work situation, and it’s really really difficult. I know that my future holds something great (and yours does too!) but not knowing what it is or when it’s going to happen is TORTURE!!!

I’M in limbo right now! That almost graduated, scared about a job limbo!

I’m not sure I’ve ever played limbo; flexibility has never been my strong suit.
As far as being in limbo? Well, we’re a military family so we’re in limbo every 2-3 years when it’s time to move on to a new duty station. Not knowing where you’re going to live can get pretty annoying.

I was in limbo for the past three months and it felt SO good to finally start moving forward. Can’t wait till you can, too!
I remember playing Limbo when I was on a cruise with my family as a kid, but I haven’t tried since then!

I feel like I am in limbo right now with my career. But, I do have a plan in place and I am working toward it. I don’t like what I do now, but I am in the process of saving money and going back to school full-time. The waiting is the hard part. It feels like I am not doing enough even though I am doing everything that I can and should be doing at this point! I just have to keep reminding myself of that… often!

remind me what happens in April? Is that when you and Ben decide where to move to? April is just around the corner!!

I used to be horrible at limbo! I currently feel like I’ve been in limbo for a couple of months. I am so ready to move back to NJ/NY but to do that I need a new job. Easier said than done, right?! I guess it all works out in the end š

Oh I was a champion limboer, being an ex gymnast and all.

I lived in limbo for about a year and it was the most stressful time in my life. I felt so frustrated that I was in control of my own life. But the good news, it turned out great and I’m glad things happened the way they did.
