Run Eat Repeat

Intuitive Running

I keep thinking about how to get myself to a place where I practice Intuitive Eating, and I realized that I often do practice Intuitive Running. I have a training plan for reference, but I don’t really use it (which is why I wasn’t too worried about using that super hard plan as a guide). I know roughly how much I want to run when I leave the house, but I really just end up doing what I want. If I am having a day where my legs are tired I will stop early and walk – that’s completely okay to me. I’m listening to my body.

But, for some reason I don’t listen to my body in that same way when I eat. If I’m having a day where I’m not very hungry I still eat! If I am super hungry on a particular day I feel guilty about eating so much. I “get” the concept of Intuitive Eating, but I am having a hard time applying it to my life.

I have my appt with the RD today at 2pm. I’m excited to see what she says. I hope it’s what I want to hear though…

Friday is one of my usual rest days. I did 30 Day Shred– Level 1 – that’s 3 days in a row folks! I’m gonna take a walk right now & get down to business, I have a lot to do today. Tomorrow Ben & I are driving up to Paso Robles to get some wedding things done. We may or may not spend the night – TBD.

Breakfast was cereal & naner dscn7307
