Run Eat Repeat

It's building

My excitement for this weekend is totally building! I am taking tomorrow off, so this is my “Friday” and this morning I got this text message from my friend – “Drink extra water today so you’re ready for the booze”.

Noted:DSCN8835

I don’t know what she has planned, but it sounds like it will involve a lot of vodka. I don’t normally drink that much, so wish me luck!

DSCN8832Run: I did 5.7 miles today with some hills thrown in for fun. I meant to only do 4 miles since I am running tomorrow (on a normal rest day) and didn’t want to tire myself out, but I had a lot of stuff on my mind. Before I left for the run I had a few handfuls of Quaker Oatmeal Squares.

When I got home I did 10 minutes of a yogadownload to stretch a bit.

The plan for tomorrow is:

– Run

– Eat

– Grab my stuff

– Drive to Vegas!!!

Breakfast– I wanted to have oats today since I probably won’t be eating them again for a while. This is oat bran, banana, almond milk, cinnamon and a Larabar crumbled on top with some PB. Like it. DSCN8826

Oh, and cherries on the side! You have no idea how happy I am that cherries are in season. This is my equivalent to Christmas. LOVE IT. DSCN8828

Oh wow I really like the idea of those four categories you’re using to rate your foods. I think I might steal your idea!

Have a great time in Vegas! I have never been but I am trying to convince my husband that the Vegas marathon would be fun. Do you think it is a good running city?

I’m SOO excited that cherries are in season too! They’re expensive as all get out, but I don’t care, I can’t stop eating them! They are my absolute favorite fruit.

And I think it’s hilarious that you are preemptively drinking water to prepare for your vodka intake. Have fun! -e
