Leaving Las Vegas

Hello from the road! 12-B6CF342E-1789898-960-100 (800x451)

I am coming back from the most epic weekend in Las Vegas. The traffic is tragic, but that just means I have more time to transition back to the real world I guess.IMAG0448 (800x451)las vegas new york new york12-B39DE0F4-2330844-960-100 (800x451)

I was there with some girlfriends to celebrate a few different things, so the focus was on drinks and dancing, not fab Las Vegas restaurants and running paths.

But I did run on Saturday morning – more on that later. the signature at MGM Grand lobby

We stayed at The Signature at MGM Grand. It was nice and had great service. It’s a non-gaming hotel so it was quieter than most other Vegas hotels.

Here’s some pictures from the weekend.  I had the best time I’ve ever had in Vegas and we’ll leave it at that…naked indian in las vegas

Now I have to get home and get ready for a new week.

I went to Dallas and ran the Rock N Roll Half (in freezing cold temps!) My amazing boyfriend flew out there with me and supported me during the race (even though he had a horrible stomach bug the entire time). We stayed with some friends that just bought a house in the suburbs there. It was a great, long weekend, but so glad to be back home.

I watched one of my best friends get married, saw a bunch of houses, and now are putting an offer in on one of them!

I pretty much just hung out with family since my BF is working out of town and ate entirely way too much!! But I had some yummy New Mexican food so it’s hard to say no to the sopapillas!

I really like the top you’re wearing in the last picture 🙂 I threw a bridal shower for a friend. Super fun!

I was totally in Vegas this past weekend. My body is in shock from the lack of tequila today. Lol Glad to see you had fun! To bad I didn’t “run” into you.. But I was busy stumbling down the strip. #blogstalkergonetequilastalker

Love Vegas, wish I lived closer!
I had a great weekend, Took my husband rock climbing for his bday. Then did my long run with him yesterday, then right to breakfast (I make sure our route ends at our favorite breakfast spot..I am so smart!)
Got a hike in with my niece, a little family time and then crashed!

Niceee! Glad you enjoyed yourself! I didn’t even know non gambling hotels were an option lol.

My weekend flew bye of course! It was okay though. Did some running, ate some good food, did a little retail therapy and now back to the real world. Ugh Mondays.

Looks like you had a great weekend! I’ve never been to Vegas- would you recommend staying at a gaming hotel or staying at a non-gaming hotel?

The good thing about non-gaming hotels is they are quieter and not filled with smoke. But, if I don’t mind that all too much in Las Vegas because I know that’s the drill. If smoke or loud noises bug you, I would say stay at a non-gaming. If you want the full on Vegas experience a gaming hotel is fun 😉

I will also add that if you don’t mind a gambling hotel, I find it best to stay toward the “middle” of the strip so you can do and see it all more effectively. LOVE LAS VEGAS!!!!

I’m going to spend my weekend doing heavy workouts which I learned from irongymreviewer.com ! I got lazy for the past days and totally skipped all my daily exercises. I wish someday my weekend will be fun like yours! 🙂

My weekend wasn’t nearly as fun as yours.

Saturday night I met some friends at Sweet Tomatoes (I think it is the same thing as Soul Plantation) and then yesterday had a sick kiddo.

Vegas banned me, not the whole city just the owners of Caesars palace. They probably one a bunch of other crap too so I’m effectively banned. Pretty uptight for a party city!

Glad you had fun in Vegas.

I love Vegas. Heading there on Sunday but it’s with the family so it will be something I’ve never ever everrrrr done before. I hope I don’t traumatize my teenager… actually he’ll love it. ha! Then I head in June for my nephews 21st birthday. Which is a whole other ball game. I better start resting up now or I wont make it out alive.
