Hello and Happy Monday! This morning the sky was gloomy and drizzly on my boot camp. We were able to find some cover to do HIIT and strength moves though. You don’t need a lot of space to get a good work out in!
Then, I ran a slow 4 miles. My legs are tired. I’ll give ‘em a rest tomorrow.
Remember last Thursday when I bought Cinnamon Raisin Muffins? Well, I just ate the last one for breakfast! I ran out of them fast because I had 1 1/2 each time. That’s either a major fail or major win, I can’t decide.
My muffin was served with egg whites topped with cheese and green onions. Breakfast of champions people who like english muffins and eggs.
I know it can be harder to workout when it’s cold and gloomy outside. But, I have a little Monday Motivation for you…
It’s National Pie Day.
Want some pie? Work for it.(image source)
Question: What kind of pie are you working for today?
I’m a cake girl, not pie but I’d go for a good piece of berry a la mode. Actually, I’d eat anything a la mode…
I would have to say I am a cake girl too BUT Cherry Pie is my favorite 🙂
hate pie except pecan. Cake any and every day please!
How FUNNY — Yesterday I went on a 5 mi run and had Vons Berry Pie with Neopolitan Ice Cream on top!!!! and I hadnt even read your post yet hehe. I also like my pie micro’d for 20 seconds. 🙂 then the ice cream melts all yummy-like… o yah.
I know a gal who makes a Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie, I would boot-camp it up all day long for one of those babies!
chocolate cream pie for sure!
I’m in love with Mark Remy’s “motivational” posters on RW. He is so funny!
I’m the exact opposite…pie girl over cake. Hmmm I think a big slice of pecan pie with french vanilla ice cream would be my ideal dessert. I’d run a few marathons for that!
hahah i absolutely love that photo 🙂
Cheesecake, tbh. Today was a rest day for me, though – I ran 7 miles yesterday and had cheesecake when I was trying not to eat the contents of the fridge.
Yes, cake and frosting. Pie’s alright, I wouldn’t say no to pie, but cake is way better.
I love pie and its even better with vanilla icecream.
I Love pumpkin pie! YUM
Not a huge pie fan. I’m looking forward to “Warm Chocolate Brownie With A Scoop (or 3) of Vanilla Ice-Cream Day.” When is that day? Hopefully soon.
I wish “warm chocolate brownie..day” was everyday…
Around her cheesecake is considered a pie 😉
As a result, I vote for a slice of oreo cheese pie!
haha, I love that photo. If I could, I’d be working for some pumpkin pie!
Lemon meringue pie but without the crust! Give me a bowl of lemon filling topped with meringue and I’ll be a happy girl 🙂
I prefer cake or cookies, but I do love a good slice of boysenberry.
Did I tell you Ben orders it “poisonberry” and thinks he’s hilarious.
Gonna have to make that apple crisp after all tonight, not a pie but very close.
YUM Pie!!
Caramel pie is soooo good!
I don’t like pie crust but I’d take pie filling on ice cream any day. Except cherry pie filling, that stuffs gross. Way to get that run in and thanks for the motivation!
Chocolate Puddin’ Pie Darlin’ (speaking like Paula Dean in my head)…
The only kind of reward I am going to give myself is a big ol’ glass of water after my workout tonight. And then maybe some extra sleep. Sleep is good when you didn’t get much the night before (TWSS)
I’m such a fan of key lime pie! But today I’m working towards starting off the week right so I may hold the pie for later.
Totes with ya- give me anything a la mode and I’ll delightfully dig in 😀 A slice of warmed apple pie sounds fabulous right about now!
Oreo pie or pumpkin. But I’ll pass its not helping the size of my ass!
Bootcamping it up today for some Chocolate Chip pie!
Today it will be Sweet Potato Pie because that’s what I made yesterday.
Ummm, I like pecan mystery pie, pecan pie, and apple pie.
I’ve never had Sweet Potato Pie!
Oooo, I can’t believe that. It’s a southern favorite. This is the recipe I went by: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/sweet-potato-pie-i/. I used like 6 sweet potatoes (baked them), only used a little more than 1/2 cup of sugar, and my grandma told me to put a little baking powder in it. My hubby said the pie wasn’t sweet enough. Whatever! 1 cup of sugar I felt would have been too much. Or go by Gina’s pumpkin pie recipe: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/11/skinny-pumpkin-pie.html.
Hubby brought home a box of about 40 sweet potatoes from his dad. So I’ve been sweet potato out…sweet potato pie, sweet potato fries, sweet potato souffle, and sweet potato soup.
Key lime! I can take it or leave it when it comes to pie (cookies are my thing), but a GOOD piece of Key Lime Pie even beats chocolate (gasp) for me.
Swedish Apple Pie – it’s like an apple crisp, only for a topping, it’s essentially a big sugar cookie. So good. Key lime is delightful too.
pie is lame. cake for sure. Its my moms birthday and im currently making her a home made strawberry almond cake, with strawberry filling and a vanilla butter cream icing. yuuum
I love peanut butter pie, and key lime (mostly for the graham cracker crust)!
This weekend was heavy on the sweets, so I need to stay away from the deserts for a bit.
Today, I am working for a hot slice of sexy fit body pie!
🙂
But really, I’m a cake girl myself, too. But I do love custard pie!
Love your pie pick!
Not a fan of pie either. I’ll stick to cake and ice cream.
I have never liked pie. Give me cookies, cake, candy…..etc 😉
