Hello! Today was full of beautiful running and eating. God Bless it.
Post-run and eat I ran some errands. One of them included getting my lil Mom a mum for her birthday. Vegas checked it out…
And decided to declare this land in the name of Cats! He looks so statuesque. I feel like I should taxidermy him when he dies. Is that the most f-ed up thing you’ve ever read on RER? Probably.
While out and about I spotted a new to me Sabra – Chunky. Just like I like it Except, I didn’t get it yet since I already have a ton at home.
And I know many of you were upset that I didn’t buy that new bread from Costco the other day. So, I checked it out today and it was still nice and warm. I drooled a little and put it in the cart.
Dinner was wine, cheese and all that jazz. It was amazing.
And my best Valentine’s Day / life advice = buy yourself candy. And flowers. Don’t be worry about being with someone who makes you happy, be someone who makes you happy, and you can share intimacy with.
Do it.
Question: Did you have chocolate today?
Because you should have.
Losing Lindy says
I bought myself chocolates after Valentine’s day, they were on sale… lol
Shannon in Tustin says
Not on the 14th per se, but definitely had enough in the days leading up to account for a good portion!
Erin @ Erin's Inside Job says
I did have chocolate, but that’s really every day. I was craving some chocolate covered caramels, but it was too cold for me to go back outside in the world. Hope you had a great day!
Shannon says
For me, chocolate equals happiness, so I definitely couldn’t resist yesterday, lol!
Melissa @ThatLastYearThen30 says
You sound like me; I got off work and as I was leaving all my guy coworkers asked if I had plans. I said, “Yeah, me, my camera, the sunset and a bottle of wine afterwards.” Woot woot!

You’re darn right I had chocolate today! I made red velvet peanut butter blossom cookies, and then ate a whole mess of them (along with a few extra Hershey kisses!)
Cheri @ Overactive Blogger says
Already have had candy once today! But this is making me want some more!
Becky @ Ok, so here's the plan says
There was chocolate frosting on my doughnut this morning, and there’s a distinct possibility that I will have more chocolate later. 🙂
Tricia @ A Couple of Dashes says
I haven’t had any chocolate yet, but I have had some Skittles! I also bought myself a present for Valentine’s Day and can’t wait to wear my new Lulu pants with mesh detail soon! Enjoy your Vday!
Christie says
I had a chocolate cupcake. I watched undercover boss last night on Gigi’s cupcakes so had to try one today! Thank goodness I burned 1400+ calories today! I hate it when I eat my burned calories – but it’s Valentine’s Day, so what the h&@@!!! And I didn’t buy just one. Lol
MaryBeth at The Thrive Blog says
enjoy your v-day cals! they don’t count, right?!

Great reminder/advice! And love the picture of Vegas, but wanted to mention that mums can be highly toxic to cats. http://www.petmd.com/cat/emergency/poisoningtoxicity/e_ct_poisonous_plants
(Don’t want any taxidermy to occur before it’s time.)
Myria says
I was just about to comment this same thing. I thought I had heard that mums are toxic to kitties. I know that poinsettias are as well. Stay back, Vegas!! 🙂
Jojo @ Run Fast Eat Lots says
I take a calcium/D supplement that’s in the form of chocolate (that actually taste good, surprisingly), so I each chocolate everyday! And I also received a mug full of dark chocolate. Just haven’t dug into it yet.

Sure had some chocolate! And wine.
It’s funny how the cats need to make sure to keep their eye on absolutely everything 😀

yes, be someone who makes you happy!
Jill @ Champagne for Everyday says
Hahaha l definitely had a good giggle at that cat comment! Also chunky hummus -> brilliant. I love the chunks that remain when I make it myself!! My favorite way to enjoy a box of chocolates is to cut them in half or quarters and share them with my bf – then you can taste every single one!! 😀

I’m thinking today should revolve around chocolate, right? If I make a chocolate smoothie and put spinach in it, then it’s healthy right?
Sally @ sweat out the small stuff says
Yup. I melted a Hershey bar and swirled peanut butter into it and ate it with a spoon. I’ve been doing this a lot lately. I need to stop but it’s so good. Like a melted Reese’s pb cup. 🙂
meredith @ The Cookie ChRUNicles says
Best advice ever! I like when someone knows that the way to my heart is with chocolate but I have no problem getting it for myself : )
Wendy@BlushandBarbells says
I had a chocolate Shakeology today, does that count? Probably not, so I bought myself some See’s for tomorrow 😉
Stacy @ Sweating Tulipz says
Chunky hummus!? Holy cow that just made my night! Everything is better with a little bit of chunks! haha! I did have flourless brownies with a somoa cookie crunch crust for dessert at dinner tonight. YUM!

Did I have chocolate today? Ha! I don’t think a day goes by when I don’t. And I love your advice at the end of your post 🙂
