Hello! How’s it going?! The weekend is coming – you ready for some relaxin’ and eatin’?? I am.
I’m actually super tired today and accidentally fell asleep while icing my knees!! Busted Monican.
Thursday is one of my usual rest days but I like to squeeze in a little cross training. I used my Class Pass to sign up for a Zumba class and ate breakfast since the class wasn’t until 9:20am.
Today I’m sporting some new fitness gear. YogaSmoga recently reached out to me and offered to outfit me up. Far be it for me to turn down free gear and I really like this! The shorts are too short for me to run in, but great for yoga, walking or ZUMBA!
I did a little work while waiting and then headed over to a new-to-me studio in Irvine, CA for Zumba.
I haven’t taken a Zumba class in probably a year! So, I was super rusty. Awww, it’s discouraging to basically suck at Zumba since I love it and go to dance around and have a good time. But this just means I have to get back at it! I’m hoping to use my ClassPass as much as possible to try new and different exercise classes before I settle into a new series though!
Lunch plus grapes and a yogurt after my icing/nap situation.

10! I was up at 2 am to volunteer at the Ragnar Relay Cape Cod before work this morning. I don’t know how I’ll hold it together. I’ll probably go to bed with the 7 month old tonight! TGIF…

I think about a 2. I cycled to work, and now have a huge coffee in front of me. It’s Friday, and the clock is counting down to the weekend. The happy place beckons!

I did just did a speed work workout with a running club so I’m still pretty amped from that but I’m quite sure I will come down shortly. Time to relax on the couch…

I’m at about a 5 right now, it could go either way. I’m excited tomorrow is Friday though, and I don’t have to be anywhere until noon. Sleeping in!

Totally 10! I had one of those workdays where I didn’t look up from the computer screen all day feverishly trying to reach a deadline. Now I’m trying to empty all the mystery frozen stuff out of my fridge to make a hodge podge dinner. I thought you wrote that your Zucked at Zumba but then I realized you wrote sucked. Lol. 🙂
