Run Eat Repeat

No Ice Iced Coffee

21 Jul

Hello and Happy Thursday Smile I have a mid-length run scheduled for tomorrow and a 10k on Saturday so I’m taking today easy. I’m planning on taking a long walk to catch up with my BFF on the phone in a minute.

Breakfast was an egg burrito and tons of watermelon. It’s too good, I can’t stop.IMG_6326 (800x533)

And Iced Coffee with no ice Sad smileIMG_6328 (800x533)

We don’t have any ice because our refrigerator broke this week and I bought a new one on Monday. It should be delivered today “between 3pm and 5pm”.

Our broken fridge has stayed a little cold so it still has a ton of produce, drinks and condiments in it. I have to clean it out and transfer everything to a cooler this afternoon. Or I can eat everything?

I got the race picture I ordered from the Fontana Half Marathon yesterday!!! It was the first race where I felt like I was running (as opposed to slugging along). So, when I got a coupon code a while back I had to order one! I need to frame it and put it up now Smile IMG_6335 (533x800)

Have you ever ordered a race picture?! Have you got a personal camera picture printed out for inspiration?

THIS IS YOUR YEAR.

I was just looking for this information for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this kind of informative websites in top of the list. Generally the top sites are full of garbage.

Race pictures of myself frighten me! I always look at them and go “OMG, is that what I look like when I run? YIKES!” So, no, I have never bought a race picture of myself. 🙂

I ordered one from my 3rd marathon because I PRd by 27 minutes and thought I was awesome (and would never run that fast again)… now my PR is actually 15 minutes faster than that, but I haven’t ordered any more pictures. They are SO expensive! And I usually have my husband taking pictures for free!

I have not ordered them, but I gather them all up and store them on my site for easy viewing whenever I need inspiration: http://janesaddictions.wordpress.com/races/ (each result time is a link to photo pages of the race).

I’ve never ordered a race photo because they’re always so expensive, but I definitely love awaiting their arrival on the internet 😀

Wow 3-5pm is such a small window! I am so used to everyone saying between 8 and 12 or 1 and 5 which is just ridiculous!

I say eat the fridge clean 🙂

I have never bought a race photo before but been very tempted too! However, both my first half marathon and full marathon supplied digital photos for free – which I think rocks!

That’s a great picture! Mine always look sluggish, I definitely need to learn to pick up those feet whenever I see a photographer. I bought one picture from my first half marathon with my husband. Of course, he looks fabulous and I’m looking down.

I might buy one from my first 10k, but the only thing I don’t like about the pictures is that my shorts are riiiiiiding up. 😛

NO! Would never want (or need!) a race photo of meself. HA …. I’d look horrid. A freak of nature.

You do okay for race-photo-shots Monica. A bit pale a times. Geez …. in all honestly, hard runs can make a person croak. That would be me.

For sure, you are highly inspriring to/for other females. You also have a natural type of niceness/humor! I like it.

From what I’ve seen on many posts, you do photograph great! Maybe it has something to do with persistence and definitely true-grit!

Not all of us can do those difficult/sweaty runs. I admire you ladies that continually keep it going ….. day-in & day-out. Just marvelous.

P.S. In my next life I shall work harder. Maybe. (sigh)

No race picture as I’ve never run a race (but will in Sept!). I only have photos of me after the fact, red face and sweaty with a forced smile on my face….not very inspirational. 🙂

You on the other hand, totally inspire me! Keep up the work and good luck on Saturday!

I just saw the pictures from my second race ever, and am considering buying a picture. I look awful in all of them though, haha! That’s a great picture of you, however! 🙂

I always order at least one of my race pictures because I keep a scrapbook of all of my races!! Sometimes they aren’t the best pictures though – aka I look like I am dying!

I look so bad in the most recent race picture that I have… I swear my legs look like tree trunks. I know I should try to embrace the muscle but I wish I had thin, long legs. Never gonna happen I guess- but I guess I could have just said NO Lol

That’s a great race picture! I never ordered one because I look rediculous in mine. I sent one to my Husband for a good laugh & he said I look like I’m dancing. (men…eye roll) 😀

I have my first half marathon coming up in October and I am so excited/nervous! I definitely plan on ordering a picture! My sister and I are doing it together so we want to have them framed together! Gives me chills to imagine crossing that finish line!!

The only race picture I have ever ordered is of me crossing the finish line at my first half marathon. I was psyched that I did not look like I was ready to die and was proud of that accomplishment so I put it in a frame in my bedroom. My (almost 5 yr old) daughter told me the other day that she also wants a picture of me running in her room. Too cute!
