Today was a rest day so I just took a long walk. I am glad I wasn’t scheduled to run today since I am still feeling bloated from eating too much yesterday. It felt great to take a walk though 🙂
I have to work a bit from home today and then have some errands to run. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Lacey, thanks for the support. The longest distance I did prior to training for this full mary was 13.1 too. The long runs are getting harder each week and my body wants to go back to the good ol’ days of 10 mile long runs! But, if I can do it anybody can!
I totally agree that as I up my mileage I am wanting to eat more. It’s a hard balance. I need to make sure I am eating enough earlier in the day so I don’t just snack through the night.

hi monica! i started reading your blog after seeing who was doing the POTM over at Bobbi’s blog. I like your format doing the separate Run + Eat posts, super easy to follow along. WOW on your long runs!!! I haven’t run any distance further than 13.1 miles yet (ran my first half marathon back in May). I’m starting to work on upping my mileage with tentative thoughts of running a marathon POSSIBLY but definitely another half 🙂 nice work on keeping up with all your runs and working so hard and don’t be too hard on yourself about eating etc. i can definitely sympathize with you as far as the binge-eating, i have had a problem with this for a looooong time and like you i’m just starting to head in the right direction (at least i’m hopeful!!!!). my biggest challenge is now that i’m trying to run longer i am eating so much more, and find that if i don’t work hard enough to balance+ eat enough during the day i will DEFINITELY binge+be miserable at night+ the next day. but i want to keep running more so i’m just working to find that fuel balance. i look forward to following along with your blog and just know that people you barely know are pulling for you!!! hang in there 🙂 and keep running 🙂 way to POTM!!!!! 🙂 all the best.
