I actually did more than I expected. WooHoo! I took Fri. off from work and hit up the gym first thing. Then did a massive deep cleaning of my house. Started with all the ceiling fans and dusting the walls to get those cobwebs. Made some major progress. Love that feeling!

Sat. went for a swim because it was super windy in IA and I didn’t have a run in me in the morning.

Sun. went for a run after church and enjoyed the nice weather!

On Sunday I did a 15 km run. I am in training for a half marathon and did a 15k before, but this one was really hard. I couldn’t get of the couch for the rest of the Sunday. Hope to do better next weekend, In total I missed one training this week. I’m trying to not feel very bad about it. Good luck everyone for the second week!

I ran in a 5k this morning for my school’s PTO. It was a HUGE victory for me in so many ways! I got to run with my students (yay!), I was able to help a student who is terrified of dogs run down a street past a big black dog, and I had a huge PR for my 5k time- even with stopping for 1-2 minutes to help my student!
