I was doing well with my goal of tapering, running the marathon, and recovering… until my foot started hurting last week. After two doctor visits, I’ve got a big boot to heal a stress fracture. My first running injury, and I picked a good one! 🙁 I guess my goals will now be to do what my physical therapist says and rest as much as possible!
Megan @ Grad Student Needs Hobby says
Met half of my goal! This week I want to get out jogging three times and spin twice, whatever mileage that leaves me with.

My goal for this week is 18 miles!
Rob Runs says
I made my 15 miles last week (total of 15.5), even though I crammed in a 10 miler I didn’t feel like doing to get there. Had I not been doing this challenge I probably wouldn’t have run that far, and I have a half marathon on Saturday so it’s a good thing.
I wanted 15 this week (I know I’ll get 13.1!), but I’m sick. Again. I think I can cram in two measly extra miles though! Maybe on the treadmill so if I pass out at least there will be someone around to pick me up and I won’t get, like, eaten by wolves or something.
Audrey says
Didn’t meet my mileage goal last week, but yet I am happy because I started to incorporate more strength training in. Goal for this week I think I will adjust to 40 miles. (I want the cat too!)
