Didn’t get to write this before the drawing but wanted to post that I slightly am behind in my weekly goal-Vegas did me wrong-but I did walk a TON!
I met my goal this week despite traveling! 15+ miles down.
28 miles… made up for my 22 last week!
Last week I reached my goal and worked out 4x during the week. I have been having fun making sure I work out 1 more day during the week then I have been doing in the past. My goal for the next week is to continue the 4x a week workout but also try and run 15 miles during the week!
My goal is to run every day this week! So far I’ve put in 12 miles!
Hit mine woo hoo! Got in 20 :). May need to take it down a bit after Sunday’s 10 miler. Not sure I’ve fully recovered from my marathon.

Total mileage last week was just over 58! Ran my first 20-miler! Now the taper begins with just 2.5 weeks until my marathon. Hoping to get in about 40 miles (run/walk) this week.

Started the week with a 7 mile run. Currently at 37 miles for the month which only puts me 3 miles away from my 40 mile goal with over a week to spare! Maybe I should increase my goal to 50? New sneakers would be awesome and perfect timing as my current running sneakers are wearing thin.
Really trying to get back on track this week. My goal this week is to run 25 miles. I really want to stick with it this time…no excuses!

Last week I ran my first half marathon after a very poor running season that included 2 knee scopes. However, I ran well and finished in 1:46:32. My goal this week is to run smart–get my miles in and feel good without overdoing it and risking more injuries!
My goal is to make it through this week to Thanksgiving break… 🙂

I am so sad to say, I won’t be able to finish mine 🙁 I have severely sprained my right ankle and think that some ligaments have been torn 🙁 I’m even on crutches.

Knee problems got in the way last week. But this week I’m shooting for 1 CrossFit session and 4 runs hopefully totaling 15 miles!
My goal this week is to focus on cross training (even though I DON’T want to) since I’m trying to rest an injured foot/ankle!
I’ve been sick for over a week now and I’m FINALLY starting to feel better. I got 10.5 miles in last week (my goal!) and I’d love to get 8 miles in this week.

My goal is the same as last week- complete all my training runs for my upcoming marathon. Unfortunately, last week I only got in half of my scheduled runs because of a stupidly epic sinus infection, but thanks to the magic of amoxicillin, I’m back on my A game!

I did actually go over my goal last week, not by much though, and only due to a surprisingly good long run. So I think 18 miles for this week should be good, especially if I am better at scheduling in my runs during the week too.

Due to Achilles injury I’m only biking this week. Making sure I wake up early enough to work out before work is key to meeting my mileage goals!

Goal for the week – go up to the next level with free weights (20 lbs) and up to 50 lbs on the lat pulldown.
If I can do a pull up (or two) with 5 lbs LESS resistance, that would be amazing.
Last week I didn’t quite hit my goal and only did 20. This week, I plan to do at least 25 (10 down, 15 to go!)
My goal for this week is to rest and recover! I finished my first marathon on Sunday (Philly) and am fully enjoying the recovery phase. 🙂
I’m running a half the first weekend of December — hoping to get an 11 or 12 mile run in this weekend — and hoping it feels good!
I just hope I can get some miles in this week; my goal is to get back into it after possibly pulling a muscle last week. 🙁 I did run 3 easy miles yesterday, but I didn’t want to push it and took today off. Maybe I can try again tomorrow.
I checked into a post on Sunday too! I was so anxious! I plan to stick to 35 miles again this week. I beat my goal (by just shy of 2 miles last week). I’m bit exhausted, but I can rest in December! Going to push for the end!
Got my 10 in last week! Shooting for 12 this week, and got 4 of those done yesterday.
I was hoping to do 40 miles this week and instead did 50. I think I’ll aim for 50 this week instead of 40.

My goal this week is to get over this cold I have and rest. My body is getting over some soreness from some serious mileage I’ve been putting in the last few weeks, so I guess I am “glad” for an excuse to take it easy. I ran my first marathon in October, and I think I am still kind of recovering from that. I didn’t take enough time after the race to let my body recover. I would LOVE those Brooks!

My goal for this week is to complete the week 1 of my half marathon training for my march half marathon. That puts me at 12 miles for the week – even if my hubby has to drag me out of the house kicking and screaming 🙂

I hate cold so I joined a gym. The interesting thing is that I forgot how much I enjoy weight lifting. SO, no, I haven’t really made any progress on my running goals for the month. BUT, I have worked out a lot of times and have found myself getting into a gym routine.

I only ran 15 miles last week, 10 under my goal. But I did start Insanity, so I purposely decided to keep my mileage down. This weeks goal is 6 days of insanity and 3 run days!

Did well with my goal until my long run day hit and I woke up with my left eye swollen shut! Instead of my long run, I think I walked on the treadmill 4-5 times (had some New Girl and other Netflix shows to catch up on.) I still hit my milage goal! Woohoo!

A bit late checking in here, but I didn’t meet my goal for last week. My treadmill was having issues and they weren’t resolved until Friday evening. I got about 18 miles of walking, but only 2 miles of running in, and I’m paying for the lack of running this week for sure. Here’s to hopefully making my goal this week.
Cruddy weather last week and no motivation to run in the cold/dark/wind/sleet/hail. Hit 4 out of 5 training runs, but didn’t do any cross or weight training. This week, I’m gunning for ALL the training runs and ALL the cross/weight training, regardless of the weather! Hope to get in 20 miles (running).

My goal this week is to not miss any of my scheduled workouts! I have been making sure to write them on the calendar. That way I don’t have any scheduled days that aren’t crossed off.
I was five miles short of hitting my goal, I did do strength training twice though! This week my goal is 20 miles, one 5k race, ab workout three times and strength training at least twice. I am going to hit my goal by starting early! I had a strong workout today and set my alarm for early tomorrow!
Yuppers – managed to run-walk at least 8-10km every time I set out and did so 5 days. Continuing with that this week, maybe increase the run portion – did so this morning! [note: dealing with an injured left tendon]

I was surprised with my crazy work schedule that I made my goal! I did some speed work and ran 2 miles in 17 minutes early I’m the week, when I ran 5 miles later in the week, I was able to run under 10 min miles. Super fast for a slow poke like me! My goal is to do some more speed work and get faster!

I finished my first half marathon in my BROOKS and have nearly worn out the left sole – I will only be doing 3 miles this week as I recover! I was happy to finish in under 2 hours

Got 16 miles last week. Ended it with a 10k on Sat that i surprised myself in doing pretty well (at least for me). However, I have a chest cold that has gotten worse so until that lets up….I’m gonna shoot low this week and say 7 miles

Met my goal of 15 miles last week by running 18.2, in addition of running the longest i have ran yet of 10.5 miles….. that last mile killed me but so glad i was able to do that distance!!!! Goal for this week is 15 miles again.
I fell just short of my goal of 25 miles last week! 5 miles into my run on Saturday my knee started hurting! I walked the rest of the way home and iced it all night. I’m going to take a few days off and hopefully it was just a fluke! I’ve never had an injury from running and I do not want one!!! I’m going to aim for 20 this week, a low number, but I don’t want to over work my knee!
Prepping for my half marathon this coming Sunday, so my mileage will be around 16 for this week!!!

My goal is to run 11 miles again this week.
Did not hit my goal this week, but I did manage to run a 10K without stopping once! That is nothing I ever thought I could manage.
Didn’t make my mileage goal for last week, so switching it up to time/ workout goals for this week. Lately I’ve been in more of a circuit training/cardio workout mode and am finding that easier than running. Aiming for 5-6 hour long workouts this week, already completed 2!

I actually post multiple goals each week but… I would say my main goal for this week would be to incorporate running back into my workouts. I got semi discouraged but have since discovered the Jeff Galloway (run/walk program…which I call wogging – walk/jog) and have been loving it!

I didn’t reach my goal for the last week (which was 15 miles) as I rolled my ankle on Tuesday. But after resting a couple days, I did a nice walk on Friday, and then did 3 miles on Saturday. So a total of 4 this week. I am proud of myself for actually resting my ankle and not trying to push it (I’ve been known to do that in the past. I know, awful!)
I have scheduled a few short runs with myself this week, and on Saturday I am going to do my long run (7 miles!). My goal is 12 miles. I am itching to get back out and run again. It’s funny that you never want to do something as much as when you shouldn’t.

I ran Sun with a cold and managed a 12s PR for my 10k, but was out for the week and only got in another 2.75 – it was in my chest, so had to rest. Just want at least 10 uneventful miles this week, with no drama… Unless it’s news of some fancy new shoes!!! Congrats on RnRVegas!

I love Brooks! They are the only brand I run in. Ok, my goal for the week: to hit my goal paces on my workouts. I use the FIRST program, and the paces I’m supposed to hit seem so out of reach atm.
Didn’t make my goal last week… ugh. I managed the two days of strength training I wanted, but only 4 running days (my goal was 5). So, this week I’m going to aim for 3 days of strength training, and I’ll try once again to hit 5 days of running. Such a hectic time of year! I think if I just force myself to remember when the alarm goes off in the morning how much better I feel when I get my run in, I’ll be okay.

I made my goal this past week. Goal again for the week is 15 miles. My LA marathon training officially starts on Saturday, so I will definitely hit it.
22.3 miles this week. I fell short of my goal of 25 miles, but I was on vacation down in the Keys so I knew that might be a possibility. My boyfriend and I did get a gym session in on Saturday, but Sunday the sun was FINALLY out, so instead of sweating it out in the gym, we went for a walk/sat on the beach before our noon flight back home.

So far, I’ve completed 23/40 miles of my monthly goal. I’m a little side lined right now from running due to ITBS. But I’m still getting my miles in (walking/running)! Not as quickly as I’d like, but that’s okay.

I went over my goal of 10 miles last week, ending up with 10.1, after I ran a 5-K on Saturday. There were so many awesome things about that race: I took a minute off my time and finished 3rd in my age group! Granted this was a race to benefit the local high school hockey team and I think the entire high school cross-country team was there, but STILL. I was shocked and happy that I even found the ‘race director’ and asked when the awards ceremony was being held. Unfortunately there was none but they offered me an extra t-shirt. Haha.

I didn’t quite make it last week :(. I think the key to getting there this week is just to plan more realistically. This week, I’m shooting for 14, because I’m tapering for my very first half marathon on Sunday.

Have the same goal this week; the only difference is, my throat started having issues Saturday night coming out of “Thor 2” and kept at them yesterday, so I’m taking today off. Will resume training tomorrow. Besides, with the crazy rainy/windy weather we had yesterday, the trail is a mess today! Best give it a bit of time to get dry(er).

Totally met my goal! Goal was 40 miles and I hit 44. Super excited. With my 40 from last week well on my way to making (and surpassing) my goal of 120 for the month! Now if the weather in New England would just decide on a temperature I could dress appropriately and really start enjoying my runs. :-p

Unfortunately, I didn’t hit my goals this week 🙁 A 60lb kettle bell fell on my foot when I was putting away my bike after teaching a spin class, so I was down for the count for 3 days last week. My foot is feeling better today, though, so I’m hoping to get 20 miles running/50 miles cycling in this week!

Exceeded my goal of 30 miles last week. It will be a recovery week with a goal of 20 miles. Scheduling my workouts, just like an appointment helps to keep me accountable even when I don’t feel like doing them. Once I get started, I always feel great!
I’m running my first half back after Nike Woman’s Marathon this weekend so I’m gonna go for 25 miles this week!
I was a couple miles short last week because I couldn’t convince my legs to run day after volleyball tournament, so I’ll be making it up this week with a goal of 12 miles.
Despite it being 25 degrees on most mornings this week I managed to rock out 16.25 miles! (1 4.25 miler, 1 4.5 miler and a pregnancy PDR of 7.5 miles!!) Sadly no yoga.
This week’s goal is another 10 miles run and at least 1 yoga session.
I did not reach my goal of 10.5 miles last week because I twisted my ankle, but all is well now and I hope to reach 11 miles. (I only started running 8 weeks ago and I love it!!)

Last week I ran and walked 10 miles. This week I am hoping for the same as things get crazier as we approach Thanksgiving. I am shooting for 3 tomorrow, 3 Thursday, and 5-6 on Saturday.
My Goal is 14 miles running and/or walking. 10,000 steps every day. I made my running goal last week but still had 2 days under 10K steps.
I will run at least 4 times this week with a big training run coming up next week.
My goal this week is to get my pace up! I’ve been feeling super sluggish lately and been having really bad runs leaving me feeling awful about my lack of progress. So I must power through and get my pace up to 5.30min/km

Traveling this week for work, so my goal is a little lower than I’d like, but I’m also being realistic! I do have a fun workout planned with a friend, so I’m going to count that as well. 15 miles + one weights lifting class for this week.
Fighting off some dehydration issues from my long run this weekend, but I’m hoping to get 20ish miles in. My long run will be 10 miles on Saturday, so hopefully that shouldn’t be too tough. Also, I would love some more Brook’s… they are my favorites! 🙂
Didn’t quite meet my goal this week, but got closer than last week! Still working on getting workouts in at the beginning of the week instead of putting them off to the last few days. To meet my monthly goal, I’ll have to up my weekly goal this week. I’m shooting for 9 miles and 4 ab workouts, with at least half the miles done by Wednesday!

I missed last week’s goal but just by a small amount, but it was for my sanity. I did a Fun Run with our local Fleet Feet instead of the prescribed 4 miles easy. I did about 3.5, so I wasn’t off by that much. Did my first ever 22 miler plus some unwarranted extra credit, but feels great knowing we are almost to RACE DAY!!

I only got in one run before I developed a horrid chest cold 🙁 Doc said no running until I could take a breath without coughing up a lung and gave Demi Moore her voice back – which will hopefully be in the next day or so! So, it’s going to be a very short running week for me – I’ll be happy to just put on my shoes and get out there so that’s my goal this week. Lame, I know.

My goal this week is 14 miles. That will actually have me meet my monthly goal. The crazy thing is when I started this I thought my monthly goal of 50 miles was outrageous the most I have done before in any week was 10. So to reach 10 more than that seemed like a challenge. So far this month each week has been more and more miles. Last week I did 17.2 when my goal was 12. This is so exciting for me.

Even though I didn’t run 20 miles again like I wanted to, a hard 7-mile combined with 14 miles of running made me feel accomplished for the week. I should be able to run 20 miles this week.

My goal is the same as last week – 35 miles. I actually justmissed this last week, ended up with 34.2. Still on track for monthly mileage, though! Also planning two weight/cardio classes.
Brooks shoes are my favorite especially the PureConnect line! My goal for this week is to do a spin class and yoga class with two days of running in between.

Great job Monica! I hit my gaol of 18 miles. I think the best way to stay on track is to map it out beforehand. Coming up with a base plan that outlines your goals is the best way to knock those goals outta the park. I like having a calendar with my goals all mapped out so I see what I need to do to hit the mark come Sunday!
My goal for this week is to do a long run, a speed training day, and an easy day. I did hit my goals last week. Was able to get in a 5 mile tempo, about 6 miles of speedwork, and a 5k time trial. 🙂 My legs were dead after last week. I don’t know how the 40 mile per week people do it.
I ran 10 miles last week and did 2 sessions of Shred 3. 13 miles left and 4 Shred sessions to go, and I need to do most of that this week, as we will be going out of town Thanksgiving week. I got this!

I actually exceeded my goal last week at ran just over 45 total miles, plus I put a few on the stationary bike in my basement for my local Y’s “Lazy Man Triathlon” (complete Iron Man distances for running, biking, & swimming between Nov 10 and Dec 31).
My mileage goal for this week is much more modest at 21 miles as I dial things back, but I still have a goal to get a new 5K PR at the local Turkey Trot this Sunday! I’ll have to see how I am feeling, since I finally woke up this morning with the illness that has been plaguing the rest of my family since last week.

I was doing well with my goal of tapering, running the marathon, and recovering… until my foot started hurting last week. After two doctor visits, I’ve got a big boot to heal a stress fracture. My first running injury, and I picked a good one! 🙁 I guess my goals will now be to do what my physical therapist says and rest as much as possible!

I made my 15 miles last week (total of 15.5), even though I crammed in a 10 miler I didn’t feel like doing to get there. Had I not been doing this challenge I probably wouldn’t have run that far, and I have a half marathon on Saturday so it’s a good thing.
I wanted 15 this week (I know I’ll get 13.1!), but I’m sick. Again. I think I can cram in two measly extra miles though! Maybe on the treadmill so if I pass out at least there will be someone around to pick me up and I won’t get, like, eaten by wolves or something.
