It was super cold this morning, but I couldn’t find the new gloves Ben bought me yesterday so I had to use my Poor Girl’s Gloves = Socks. Actually they are more like mittens, but you get the idea. I actually prefer mittens to gloves anyways since your fingers get to stay together and keep eachother warm!
Marathon Training called for 1 mile w/u, 4 miles at long run pace, and 1 mile cool down. But, I couldn’t see my Garmin to keep up any pace and my brain was frozen since it’s cold so I just tried to run at a brisk pace the whole time. I did 6 miles in 56:05.
I ate Pumpkin Pie for breakfast…
Well, pumpkin pie on a bed of oatmeal 🙂 It was dee-lish!
I am going to ice my ankle underneath my desk at work today. It’s been sore and tender after runs, especially when I point my toe down. I’m hoping that if I baby it everything will be okay!
Breathe – I am now writing blog posts for Breathe! Here is my first article about my new roomate, Ben. Check it out.
And if anyone else is keeping track, only 2 more days until I fly west for the winter. I wish. But, I do get to hang out in California for the weekend!

I can’t wait for Thanksgiving just to see with how many leftovers I can get away with adding to oatmeal

Breakfast looks great. Do you have a recipe for that pumpkin pie? I’m hosting a cooking demonstration at my school for all the faculty and staff about using seasonal ingredients, except we don’t have any burners or stoves so everything has to be cold. Do you have any good recipes to make with pumpkin that don’t have to be “cooked”? Thanks!
